Should be noted I bought on day 1. I said the stretched deal with suspension was “cheap” for what you were buying..

I bought a can am four seater rr the same day for more $$ then dumped another 25-30 into it.
Glad golf is my sport!

So you're saying I should go be poor somewhere else? 🥴

I'm guessing by deposit, he meant also the up to $20K some pre-paid for accessories.
Lol. Yep. If you can’t spend more in upgrades on your toy than most people spend on their every day necessity of a car. You probably should shouldn’t be here. Just go be poor somewhere else. 😱😂😜😱
Fuck en A. Reality sucks. 😆🙃

Wonder what the average accessory amount is on these. I assumed they were more turn key. It must be turn key because all the accessories are bolted on prior to delivery.
That still has a large cost im sure.
15k into a can am or polaris is no different that 15k in speed bolt on

If they had to sell their utv to front 1500 bucks they have no business owning a utv in the first place.
We went on a ride yesterday to Topock, soooo many people out there who have no business owning/driving a UTV, but it doesn't stop them.😁

I’ve actually seen a big drop in the amount of people in ocotillo the last three trips and all holiday weekends. Most of our riding group can’t go anymore because of kids sports being in full swing.

You ballers are harsh.

if you are buying the “latest and greatest” aka the “new new”. You better bring more than 1500.00 to the table.. lol

There’s nothing wrong with affordable SXS’s and cheaper fun.. but for someone to say they sold their sxs to come up with 1500 to buy a speed is ridiculous..

The shit on the speed is more boujee shit ya don’t technically need.. the car runs right out of the gate.

If ya want the seat heaters and the lights and the blah blah blah then ya add it on..

Yeah they would be an idiot since the Speed cars are not on the market yet.

The Hilarious thing about the SXS Owners, no matter the brand, is watching them driving around town. They all have the whole "Get-Up" on, Goggles, Head-Set, Flags, Lighted Whips, and On and On. Damn!! you are only going to "Walmart" and Not "Roughing It" on the Street.

I’ll be excited when this saga is over so everybody who ordered a Speed car’s life is complete. What else does one need?

Are you saying it's no challenge to find your way to Topock anymore ? Just get in line ?

For what it’s worth you didn’t have to buy one accessory just like when you go buy a Can-Am,Polaris,Honda,Kawasaki whatever. At initial deposit. Stays true today if you don’t wanna pay for the accessories you don’t have to.

Polaris Ride Command has taken the fun out of exploring, getting lost, finding cool shit and never making it to your original destination.
But I'm taking about guys driving way over their skill level. We only rescued two different guys yesterday, kinda a slow rescue day for us.

I certainly understand that.

The other member mentioned buyers maybe needing to sell their current SxS to place a deposit on a Speed car and some jumped his case about $1,500 being chump change.

My comment was that maybe he was including potentially higher accessory costs in his thinking.

No.
One guy stuck "big time" in the fresh mud next to the railroad tracks right before Topock. Another guy, family of 4, completely high centered on a huge rock, he had no idea what to do. It was a good thing we found him.

We saw that quicksand a last weekend. Our group went around. Looked brutal. Another Pro R came from behind us. He must have been flying to get through

While out off of Sienaga springs road earlier this evening a speed car went past us hauling ass! It came and went by so fast I didn't have time to focus the camera then off into the sunset it went!

Since I’m on a roll here.. every time some little hiccup happens all the haters say “oh shit! This is it!!” “He stole your money you Just wait and see!”

This transmission thing was a great example of that. All over the internet it was “this is the thing that does them in.” We can go over the 100 things before that if ya want.

That’s the perspective of the internet hater because they have no perspective. Most of these guys are never “has beens” that really haven’t ever gone out and created something on their own from the ground up. I don’t mean that in terms of a sxs, or a product line. I mean anything, like a business, or something that you have to dedicate yourself too more than anything in your life, including your family or even yourself.

A little more on the perspective front.. omg they gotta buy back however many transmissions!! Haters think it’s huge because they imagine having to nut that number and it would hurt them personally..

Here’s reality.. if they had to purchase back all the original cars that are out right now it would equate to about two months of insurance premiums for the company.

They are operating at a level that most aren’t capable of comprehending because they are spending more money each day than most make in a year.

Prime example.. just the insurance for this company (not staff, not tooling, not production, not any of the actual expensive parts) is 350,000.00 a month.

20-30 transmissions…. And a couple hundred castings isn’t even a blip on the radar.
Really $350,000 per month? Not one chance they are paying that. Is that in Peso? Or is thar why they still haven’t delivered any vehicles so the policy doesn’t start? Just curious how you came up with that number?

Since your a RG fan and have direct contact tell him to shut up and deliver what he promised! Stop saying it’s bettter than any other manufacturer. Stop hating on people who speak out. Do what you promised!

Haven’t seen anymore containers delivered what’s going on?

If someone had to sell Their car to put a $1500. Deposit they can’t afford either. $1500. Doesn’t cover 1 weekend of off-roading.
With options ect. Told they would have vehicles in LESS than 6 months have nearly $10k out of the box.

I bet the avg acc cost for speed owners is 5k

The biggest difference in speed vs can am is the cage really. The new Polaris and can am come with good wheels and tires now.

But really it’s cage, wheels and tires, and shock work. After that it’s the same, lights blowers, radios, storage, spare, window nets, and more that part is apples to apples for can am, Polaris and speed

golf carts? Thats negative 😁 EZ GO would be pissed hearing that
I priced a few last week and the best they can do for an EZ GO L6 Gas is $19,500 OTD/Club Car Onward Lifted 6 passenger Gas at $21,500. I think I’ll skip it for now.

I would sell my L6 gas for 15K. It has lots of upgrades.

Lol at this thread and the others. Life was simpler when people still rode dirt bikes and didn’t fight over $50,000 golf carts.

Right??

I dunno. I remember my parents saying shit like..

"My first house cost less that that! "

And now I can say, about paying 80k for a SxS...

"MY first house didn't cost That much!"

🤣

Mint 400, Mt Mint, Wes Miller in PR-100 Production class. This class is a "stock" class. You cannot change anything on the car but shocks, cage, seats, and add a fuel cell. This has ALL stock parts on it, you cant change a thing or you get DQ'ed. He finished all 4 laps, finished 1st in class (only one car, hahah) and 14th overall. He had a Starlink on his roof and his codawg did a live feed during the race. This hill did NOT look bad from the grid or the stands, but it was GNARLY!!! Took a few of guys out. They told us when we got to the starting line "Do NOT hit that 3rd hill fast, roll over it, we've already taken 3 guys to the hospital...".

I am not affiliated with Speed but I do have a deposit on a Diablo so I am keeping a close eye on everything as of the last I heard through social media. They had to do the testing with the Gen three transmission they flew one in prior to the mint 400. They installed it in the car Robbie ran during the mint 400 that was a hand built Diablo cage with a lot of stock parts it (the transmission) had no issues during the race. They then switched it into the bandit. They went rock crawling at king of the hammers course and from the videos I have seen it looks like it did pretty well. Robbie had said that if all went well he would give it his blessing and they will continue to build cars. I’m sure they did not stop building cars but they did not put transmissions in any cars that they have been building is the way I took it. We are due for an update straight from Speed hopefully we get one soon. Again I follow some of the stuff pretty close but not all of it. If it’s happening on Facebook I don’t see it.
