No news from SPEED, but I can almost guarantee the ship is delayed.

I work for an oil company and we are currently experiencing a shortage of Crude Oil delivered by tanker due to recent storms. It's actually hitting us pretty hard.

If they did not leave a China port before this week, they are not moving until Chinese New Years holiday ends late January. Then hope to hell they did not fall off the ship. Past company I worked for lost on average 2/3 containers a month due to them falling off the ship. Started paying for better positions to reduce that risk

They were cruising by then It stalled and looked like they were having issues tryn to get it started again..

I spoke with Speed on Friday. They are expecting the 12 cars in customers hands the 2nd week of February. They should know within a week of testing if they are good to go. I am master #1813 and they anticipate I should have my car within 6 months maybe less from now. I'm skeptical based on their track record. In the meantime, my Pro R is shipping on the 21st and I will be driving it by the end of the month.

I can’t justify buying a car and then getting my others at whatever point they come, and having to sell the one I bought.. although i am seriously considering buying that Drakart that’s here in Havasu. I think that thing would be a kick in the ass to drive

I struggled with this as well. I'm further down the list then you are.

Seems like there’s a couple groups of us that actually have deposits. Those that have kept their cars or don’t care and are being patient and those that had decided for some reason to get rid of their car and now missing out. I guess what could be a third year for some of you I feel for you guys in that position. Although this week I also talk to a couple more people that were basically the same as me only about a year out from a deposit standpoint.

I just got back from the desert today and met a couple more people in our group that want to get one. It seems like there’s a consensus that most the people that are interested in the speed cars for the most part do think these are going to be a awesome Sxs. This arctic cat I guess was one of the three That had a power train/engine built by Greg Biffle. It looks like a pretty cool car seemed a little small though. He offered to let me drive it but I never got around to it.

What model do you have on the order is it a four seater? Or one of the two seater types just curious.

I put a deposit down in June of 2020. I haven't been going without. We have a sxs and I ride dirt bikes as well. I'm definitely growing skeptical of the delays. I'm also not liking the idea of these being built / assembled in China and Vietnam. I realize pretty much everything is made in China these days. However, my experience with motorized products that are fully built in China usually are not built well. I'm buying a Pro R while I can get my hands on one in case the Speed UTV is not up to par on quality. I am far enough down the list that I can sell my spot if it's a turd. Otherwise, I will be able to sell the Pro R easily.

We were out ridding on Sat a bit North of Havasu, We stopped to help one of our cars in the group with a flat when we saw a Speed Car going down a trail next to us. It was sputtering and sounded bad when it shut off.. After some time they got it started and slowly moved away from us not sounding like it was running on all cylinders The conversation quickly went to "can't wait to see more of these out here" then the discussion quickly turned to the parts supply when things break.... It will be interesting to see how RG can supply/support his customers with parts.

These are not the first batch of 12 that was scheduled to arrive in LB on the 11, these are more cars, most likely part of the 24 that are shipping next.

The shipping part fascinates me, I couldn’t imagine the headache the logistics would bring to first fit the max amount in a container and then ship all of them to the states.

What baffles me is that each time RG has a show or post things get stranger . At one time there was 100 and ready to ship made then 200 made then 12 made and ready to ship. Made a big deal about how they weren't going to crate them like all the others so him and Daniel designed a way to stack them as they were in the pic of the ones that were suppose to be shipping . Them RG post a small video showing a Bandit and acted like it was a surprise that they were made like he knew nothing about them being built ? Then a post there are going to be made in Vietnam ? Now there are pictures of them in crates ? I'm kind of starting to think RG is nothing but a name and really isn't in control any more !

Yep. No dog in this fight at all. But some things seem very off. For one. If ordered a car over 2 1/2 years ago and still don’t know when I’m getting it would be a problem. But then again I’m not a baller which I guess most on here are and can just go buy another until they get what I paid for.

I think the ones that shipped are in port and it will be a couple weeks until they go through all that bullshit before they end up out here. Robby flew to China and is checking on things over there right now.
