Not a hater but man I’ve seen quite a few for sale lately. This guy seems to hit the nail on the head.
Was that a Robbie Gordon tattoo? Not a hater but man I’ve seen quite a few for sale lately. This guy seems to hit the nail on the head.
WTFThats what it looked like..![]()
Well to be clear on the thread title this is the same guy that’s in all the videos in the speed thread.. so I’m not sure it’s “another” irritated speed customer.
I haven’t been paying attention but how many people are out there making videos like these?
Agreed 100%. The Pro R will be our next ride unless something crazy happens. The pro Rs are really nice and turn key. What kind of cracks me up about this whole thing is there really is no noticeable performance difference on the top 3 cars. Why would you want to put up with the headache at this point unless you live or are 50% plus based in Havasu. Even then is it worth it?
I can imagine they’ll be very good. Can also see where they’ll never figure out the drivetrain issue.A new startup business where the cars are expected to be beaten to hell and ran hard. I think the cars are actually handling everything extremely well! Can you imagine how good these are going to be over the next couple of years when minor bugs are worked out and new products are implemented?
Ya Polaris and Can-Am were never worth the reward when they first came out either. As well, Polaris still cannot burn up belts after how many years?I can imagine they’ll be very good. Can also see where they’ll never figure out the drivetrain issue.
Do you think they’ll ever figure out the Speed Key that was promised? Will they ever be able to run a windshield? The risk/reward just isn’t worth it for me.
How long until you can run a Speed car on a long ride without worrying about making it back? Pretty sure the Pro R is pretty dialed. The new Can Am doesn’t have a belt. “Were never worth it” is in the past for those two. When will that be for Speed?Ya Polaris and Can-Am were never worth the reward when they first came out either. As well, Polaris still cannot burn up belts after how many years?
He has a tattoo of Robby Gordon?!?!This guy used to be Robby’s biggest cheerleader. And yeah, he’s got a Robby tattoo. He’s backed WAY off on posting drama though on “advice of his lawyers”
I finally watched the video and the guy comes off as a kook, I hope people aren’t basing decisions on his comments. Speed should buy his car back to shut him up.
Hater!Another speed thread?

She should of bought a Toyota Camry. LolMy wifes Honda Accord needed a transmission at 5k miles.
She didn't make a video of it and she doesn’t have an accord tattoo, guess we are doing it all wrong![]()
I almost respect Robby more for that. lol..Robby did even better. He told him to go fuck himself.
****Not a Speed basher here****
We were out there to see the RedBull deal last weekend.
Robbie didn’t place well at all.
Probably frustrating for him, and his son crashed his car.
I’ll give Robby credit, he’s a showman. His driving was obviously better than the other racers.
Sounded like it wasn’t pulling top rpm or something and just not as fast as some of the other cars.
The suspension looked to be performing above par.
I’m sure they will get it sorted.
What does Robby say when he passes Max?
HISUN
Is this video before or after his last tantrum?
When Max rolled the car Robby turned around to check on him and make sure he was okay. That was a big roll. Turning around put Robby at the back of the pack.
It’s odd to me that Robby competes in these deals in Glamis. If I was a Glamis rider I wouldn’t be looking at the Speed car as an option, it’s a desert car.
As are ALL SxS's...
The power to weight ratio is totally bassackwards for the sand.
Yet, there are shit tons of em trying to pretend they are sand cars.
Sand cars actually DO have an LS in them!![]()
I did see a new polaris with a broke tie rod yesterday in a absolutely horrible spot. The down hill to Boriana mine.
Best fix would be to push it off the cliff right there and total it.
No clue what the guy was going to do. He was in a group, we stopped and didn't need to help.
Car looked less that a year old.
They all break.
Broke tie-rod is an easy fix depending on where it broke. We carry a fix for them on our race car that will get us far enough to meet the chase truck should we break one.
Except they didn't have one...pretty sure they left the car overnightBroke tie-rod is an easy fix depending on where it broke. We carry a fix for them on our race car that will get us far enough to meet the chase truck should we break one.

I bought one for my kid at ASU. LOL a whole family of risk takers. She should of bought a Toyota Camry. Lol
Easy there, some of us don't have an LS in our sand carsAs are ALL SxS's...
