Just learned something new today, and I've been using PayPal for over ten years now!

You know how you can take a pic of a check, and deposit it into your bank? I was wondering if PayPal had this option...

Open my app, and no, it's not there. Even though their Help page says it should be. So I call em up (and got through in just a few minutes!) and the guy says...

NOPE. You have a business account. That only works with a personal account. WTF??? Ok, whatever, clearly this phone call is not going to change that.

So I go back and read the fine print in the help file again...

This feature is available to personal accounts and individual or sole proprietor accounts with PayPal Business Debit Mastercard®.

I've had a Debit Mastercard for years. So I switched my account from a business, to a sole proprietor account (which it actually is), and I'll check my app again tomorrow.

Will be nice if this actually works! 👍

Let us know if it works, and if the Photo check deposits have a dollar limit.

The wife uses PP as her daily card, I've never had one.

Yikes. I just looked, PP charges $5. minimum, or 5% for fast access to a deposited check, or wait 10 days... Usuary rate banking!

I link PayPal to a credit card so I have some recourse if a purchase goes sideways.

Edit: Plus you get bonus points on your card if you use a card that does that.

Will do.

I had a chat open with them as well, and the guy said that option shows available to me, but he also said it also take 24 to 72 hours for account changes to take effect.

10 days is fine for me, it's only there to pay my vendors, and they automatically change me every thirty days.

Looks like I'll have to ask the tech support guy about limits.
