I went to the website and they have already launched 5 rockets this month and Boeing can't get 1 up and back in 3 months.

Do you think the Boeing execs understand this, or is their compensation so good they just ignore reality? 😆

I’m asking myself why I’m sitting out in the heat in Havasu, wonder if I’ll even be able to see it this late. 🚀

Had just sat down to eat some chow and watching the news & see the Live countdown . . . bolted upstairs, grabbed my camera & snapped off a few.
Didn't have time to adjust settings so I didn't get any good ones.
A few sparse clouds here in Huntigton Beach . . .

Was it going south or out west? Couldn't spot it here in vegas
Seemed to follow the same trajectory as the others headed off south, I could see in the low horizon what looked like tail lights. Once it got into the higher atmosphere, I could just barely see a haze moving through the sky. Here’s kind of an enhanced picture, but it didn’t look that obvious with the naked eye .

That's actually a cool photo.👍😎
Zoomed-in at 400mm you can only lower the shutter speed so much hand held, even with image stabilization.
The best deal is to get your settings dialed in beforehand and also be in manual mode, that way you can make small adjustments as you go.
Having it on a tri-pod is a must . . . so even if you wanna 'sweep' a little, at least you're not getting the 'jitters'.
One of these days I'll get my act together . . .LOL

I live in the mountains, so trees are the biggest problem but all I see is a red dot rising into the sky. Sometimes I can see a little bit of an exhaust plume. I’ve never seen the booster returning. I can get about 10-15 seconds of viewing.

I missed it but have caught a lot of the others. It looks awesome here in San Diego. I'm going to make note of their schedule so I don't miss others. I love it.

It was definitely worth the drive out to state beaches exit, it's amazing out much bigger the burn looks. Next time we have the opportunity we will drive up to El Capitian area, my neighbors kid was camping there a couple months ago when they launched and he said they could hear the rocket

I've seen several in Havasu, but couldn't see this one.

Seen it from the ranch north of Williams. Tiny dot, not even picture worthy. Pretty dark out here, was the only reason that I could follow it somewhat.
Other launches have been spectacular.

If it were 20-30 minutes earlier it would have been spectacular

Pretty cool and badass what they are able to do. Did a few screen shots. I am sure there are better images out there.
