South OC Machine Shop ... help

[LHC Kirby]

Well... this is part of the crank to open an umbrella ($400) and it’s made from pot metal crap. Looking to get it made from real metal.

I contacted manufacturer and they don’t sell just this part. Sooo I’m looking for a machine shop or other place that can make me one... my only other choice is JD Machine and Performance in havasu... but I don’t get out there for 3 weeks... and I’m not sure they can do it... but they did an awesome on a part I needed for something about 3 years ago .

If Orange isn't too far you might try the Blacksmith shop, Rick makes some custom one off stuff.

The original appears to be cast crap.
Hope you can get one made using steel barstock. RD might know someone or knock it out hisself.
