I'd like to support the filmmakers and cause, but I don't think I can sit through it. Maybe I will just purchase a ticket and not watch.
Maybe a small movie ticket, popcorn, milk duds, soda worth of a donation?

You know...I was thinking about this movie days after seeing it and thought--it did not go far enough.
The movie actually plays it safe.
The movie distances child abductions, sex trafficking and adjacent crimes away from America. Yes--we get to see America come to the rescue and play a hero, but this country is guilty of these exact crimes.

Yes, based on a true story. But, I am sure that there are other true stories that depict those same crimes but here on US soil.
Still commend their bravery for telling the story--but could not help but feel the actual truth was missed. That the story albeit sad, uncomfortable and disheartening--many left the theater feeling safe that this did not happen here. It shows a 3rd world country so we can process that it happens there and we can feel bad for those poor little kids--cause ours are home safe watching Netflix.

The real story of what happens in the US needs to be made and told--but I am not naïve and know that story will never be made as it would name to many well known people, politicians, athletes, leaders and mega events (i.e. superbowl, F1, Worldcup, etc.. ). Every year there are thousand traffic to cities that hose these mega events.

IMO the real "special message" at the end of the movie should be just that. This is happening in your neighborhood, town, city, state and you can help by looking for the clues and saying something.

My rant and .02
It’s one story told by the guy that was there. Don’t think it would have been made if it was blasting the US.?🤔
But they readily acknowledged the number one consumer was America.

It is a big problem. My wife did computer forensic for 5 yrs. Mostly child porn and child exploitations cases. Not sure how she did it. (I couldn't) After 5 yrs she said I am done and can't do it anymore. She wanted to retire, so we did.

If people don't think this happens in America. They haven't walked the Vegas strip as a 30 plus single male alone. I get solicited at least twice when walking the strip alone at night by girls that can't be more than teenagers. Same thing if alone in a hotel lounge there having a beer.

So I brought up this thread to my wife yesterday. We decided that we will not go see the movie. She said if she did she would probably go and help out the OUR program and mentally she just can't. I said I know about the problem and it will just piss me off.

However, we want to contribute, so she found a way that we can buy ticket for someone that can't afford to go see it. She used Angel.com and there is a pay it forward.

Disney and Hollywood are full of pedophiles.

Disney fought for 5 years to keep Sound of Freedom from being released.

Government, Cartels and Military are all involved in human trafficking.

Code Adam, CPS and Red Cross are all involved in locating, funding and the transportation of children.

Project Monarch (MK Ultra) was indoctrinated into many children in the form of “normalizing” their abuse.

The US Government is the leading child trafficking organization in the world, that’s why they and every institution in America targeted Trump, they’re all in on it.

Saw this movie tonight, every person with a soul needs to see this. I was lucky enough to be at a work conference a few years ago and Tim Ballard was our keynote speaker, the man is a true hero and so very humble.
Couldn’t agree more!

This movie tugs at every emotion! I enjoyed it because it was in your face didnt seem to water down the issue. It made me sick! I cant fathom being so poor and helpless i would want to kidnap another humans child for this life and yet i cant for the life of me understand what would make an adult want to subject these children to this life of slavery or partake in the act of robbing a child of their innocence. I dont say i enjoyed it as in i relished. i actually cried a lot, i enjoyed it because its real no lies no bull shit nothing for dramatic effects.

Hug your children dads, and moms of RDP. they need your safety comfort and love.

God bless you all

OK, I stated previously that I did not want to see it. I listened to the Tim Poole podcast on my way home from CDA yesterday and it changed my mind. Tim Ballard and the producer were both on and their stories convinced me to watch it, even though it will be emotionally painful for me to watch. With all Tim and his family went through to save these kids from monsters, the least I can do is sit through 2 hours of discomfort.

It’s supposed to be painful.
It’s real, it’s happening right now, and turning away is and has always been the problem.
The USA IS THE NUMBER ONE customer and the number one enabler. Same as drugs.
Marion nailed it. It’s easy to keep secrets when the masses keep them for you.
It’s baffling to me that people see this as some big reveal?
This has been going on for as long as global consortiums have been at the helm. It isn’t a “pedophile ring”, it’s an institution, a predatory race far beyond what we would call cult status.
They say it took 5 years to get this particular film in a can. They say Disney (yeah, the same Disney that is supported by members here via cruise lines and theme park visits, the streaming service that is at the forefront of wokeness and gender confusing, the ones that openly harvest kids while smiling parents snap pictures) fought to quash its release.
Disney does not knowingly get a dime from me EVER in any way shape or form if I can help it.
The number of imported parentless children from the southern sieve (border) ranges from 80,000 to over 100,000 that we know of.
Where are they?

We can’t claim horror at this while we pay for that.
We can’t chest pound about the injustice, then go pay the cult to see their latest film or take that 7 day cruise.
You can see why this fight can never be “won”?
All we can do is what we can do.
This nation put a hatchet in bud lights back over a gender confused cross dresser…surely we can moderately disrupt the business of child sex slavery?
But…it means prioritizing things that are at the pinnacle of discomfort. It means taking on the world…literally.
And none of that can happen if we are just too busy with our lives.

When Kim Dotcom started P2P sharing of movies (he tried to sell the streaming service idea to Hollywood before it’s time) they went ballistic. He did it anyway and the next thing ya know he had CIA controlled agencies raiding his mansion in New Zealand. Like literally crashing through the windows. Helicopters and everything.
They used the full breadth of the intelligence services to go after him, primarily the “5 eyes” intelligence network to circumvent sovereignty laws.
Why? Why was our government willing to spend billions and utilize a global intelligence network to go after one fat video pirate in New Zealand?
Because Hollywood said to. That’s how intertwined they are. Now extrapolate that on a global scale.
They really don’t even hide it, we just ignore it.

Edit: That’s Jamie Lee Curtis’s dining room wall art.
If anyone of us had that stand alone image on our computers it could be grounds for a child porn charge.

I saw it on Saturday, I have not slept well since. Every American should see it, we somehow have to get back on track. Some way we have to come together and solve this, our society is crumbling and our government is failing our children.

So, how many who have been troubled by this movie gone to the O.U.R. website and made a donation?
I’ve recently read that a member here spent $7,000.00 on a dogs eye operation. Another few had their watches refurbished for $1,000.00 or more, another spent $103 for Jack in the box burgers to be delivered because no one would drive to the burger joint.
I’m NOT judging. I do the same kind of stuff (although I’d NEVER spend $7K on an animal unless it was a race horse, and I’d never pay anyone to deliver fast food to me!) but I indulge other things that are just as “extravagant”, if on a much lower station.
I have an unneeded sports car that could have fed a small army of kids, and a sort of cool boat I rarely use anymore. I did spend a few hundred bucks once to have a Bulova watch tuned up. Sold my Rolex years ago when I lost everything. So like I said I’m not completely judging here.
BUT…it says $200 will feed 10 rescued children in a pre placement facility?
This is Ballards thing, but it isn’t the only one.

So how will we respond to our outrage from seeing this movie, a movie whose content, frankly, should have surprised no one?
How will we combat these things?

We’ve watched the movie…great…now what?

A great place to give is locally, whether it is a rescue organization, a rehab facility, shelter, or prevention network. Not every situation is international abduction, some may be a local manipulation where a victim returns home every night.

We have worked on the building and grounds side of a rehab facility and have had some introductions to the group. For the most part there is no distinction between these kids and the kids down the road. It can put a dent in your understanding of the world to realize how close to home the atrocities are.

Absolutely.
I’ve seen some documentaries featuring harrowing exploits by local volunteers in San Diego and other cities.
These groups are unsung with very little media exposure, and not a lot of available LE resources to help them.
They act on tips, parental complaints, and internet investigation. Then they watch and film in stake outs, then try to grab the kids when opportunity presents.

I saw one group a while back...on IG, I believe? What are some of the local groups in the IE?

The sad part is this movie is going to make it's run and be gone but the evil SOB's will continue to harm kids and profit from it.
this.

i saw the movie last night with some friends and walked out of there pissed off.

the OUR movement is like fighting a forest fire with a garden hose. I applaud their efforts but realize we are way beyond what one group can do.

take a look at the resources our govt can bring down on you if you dont pay a speeding ticket or whatever. yet we can't attack a problem like this. it just means that these creepy disgusting people, in the govt, hollywood, big tech/media are all about this.

sit and watch as all the "controversy" gets talked about yet NOTHING will be done.

i dont have a suggestion on how to proceed from here.

but let me ask.....is anyone really surprised by what they saw with the film? this is nothing new and creeps like Epstein just disappear. we need a serious change of direction and how to go about that is why many, like myself, seem to just sit on the sidelines and watch in disbelief.
