Too bad I don’t have the space in my boat to do that :(

How loud is it from the back? It's alot of speakers, but they are small and seem to be obstructed a fair amount by the billet grille opening sizes? I love the idea, how does it perform?

There's a video posted of an Eliminator FunDeck that they did with the recessed sound bar. It sounded pretty good!

Engine compartment ventilation should always be a lower priority than your sound system
Disclaimer : --- OK, that's just a wise crack, I haven't a clue how his is or isn't ventilated ;)
I do however know I seriously hate most of the shit spewing from your speakers that you claim as music

Looks like the original 6 circular vent holes are still there and still being used for ventilation. And the rectangular holes are for the sound bar with mesh.

It's an addition too an existing boat.. Meaning in short that it did not affect the ventilation at all.

Those bars are growing on me...Wish someone made a non amplified version I could tie into my current amp and I would mount it under the hath on the hallett.

My concern was more of water in the bilge in unusually rough conditions.

I don't think a 30' Magic Scepter will have any water issues....They are huge

Like mentioned the boats already had the 6 holes from the factory.

Yes I see now looking more carefully at the pic, it appears the soundbar fills the center screen section leaving the six original holes open.

Why would you want your loud ass Tunes going away from the boat, and not in the boat?

The soundbar is pretty tight up against the hull.. There's not really much surface area for the water to come in. As already pointed out there's 6 holes from the factory on either side of it as well. LOL

For when you are sitting in your floaties away from the boat.. I'd use the shit out of it if I had one. :D

Me too! I always seem to be off the back of the boat. I don’t have the room for this so I am left with transom speakers. I need Dave’s discount for those tho :)
