What a great weekend. My oldest son went through the flight program at ASU and now spends his time instructing to get his necessary hours to get hired by the airlines. We needed to do a few things to the house in Tempe and my son had some plans with some friends so he decided to fly us out for shitsngiggles. I'm an old corporate pilot from the 90's so it was hard not to interject but I was able to keep my mouth shut and just enjoy. I have to say (unbiasedly even though he's my kid), he's a good pilot. Prepared, thoughtful, ahead of the aircraft and very knowledgeable. Seeing the outcome of his training and our tuition expenses made me very happy about his choice.

Here's a few pictures of the flight. We took off just before dusk in a Cessna 182 and landed after dark which was beautiful. Sure makes me miss flying. Best office in the world.

That; is a nicely equipped 182.
I'm guessing waaay better than what you flew corporately in the 90's.
Congrats to your son!

This is awesome. My 12 year old son just had a small project about what he wants to be, and right now pilot is the top of his list. He had to research schools and I had told him about ASU's program which I learned about through you sharing about your Son before. Thank you for sharing and congrats to your Son.
