With most of the week dealing with attorneys, and figuring out how to keep paying them it really hasn't been a great week,

Then i get on the scale and yahoo i'm down 30 pounds, go into the closet and grab a pair of pants that haven't fit in years, Sweet, they aren't loose by any means but they fit,

Now its a good week,

Being that i was so overweight and tall 30 pounds doesn't really show, but ill take it

Way to go Dan. I am trying to get 5bs dropped this month. Walking about 20 miles a weeks total and eating a lot less. Not as much fun but hoping it will keep me in the game of life a bit longer.

… I had been weighing a steady 182 since my hospital stay where I weighed 158… Weighed myself when I got home from a huge baby shower/party last night I weigh 200 pounds… How the fuck did that happen🤷🏽‍♀️… I don’t see how four beers could add 18 pounds???…

That’s actually a great idea, buy clothes that fit now and be sure to throw away or donate all of your “fat boy” clothes now. And refuse to buy any more clothes if you start to gain it back. You got this, now keep going. ;)

Dan, we’ve never met in person and only occasionally talk back and forth here but I feel like I know you. Praying for nothing but the best for you! It feels good to lose weight and 30 pounds is quite the accomplishment. Keep on keeping on!

That’s some serious lbs in a short time, the weight loss will slow down by second month, but you’ll still be dropping every week. Congrats

Well i can see how its easy to get discouraged, this week ive been working a lot so really didn't drink, ate very small meals, feeling really good, hop on the scale, ( i only check my weight once a week) only 2 pounds damn thats it, yeah i know it comes off quick at first, guess its time for reality. but two pounds is better than a gain

I'm at a plateau with a loss of 35lbs, been that way for about a month. But I've been working out pretty consistently, so I keep telling myself I'm gaining muscle weight, lol. Stay away from crafty..

Take the 2 and run. Always better than a gain. Remember, you didn't gain it all in a week. Think monthly, that 2 could be 8 or maybe ten. Keep it up is all I can say. If it happens to fast, it may not be sustainable long term.

Those plateaus are tough, especially as you age. You try to push a little harder, then you f something up. The struggle is real!

You’ll likely be 2lbs ish per week for a hot minute
But in the big picture that’s still great.

Also depends what your “small meals” consist of.
Double bacon cheeseburger and eating half. 1900 calories 1/2= 950
Versus say, 2 grilled chicken soft tacos = 450 calories

Dan,there's a guy named Cory Armstrong.
He puts out multiple YouTube videos on Facebook daily.
Nutrition/workouts etc.
Dude's legit.
It's all down to earth, real world easy to follow advice.
He's by far and away the most knowledgeable/relatable trainer that I've come across ...He's also funny as shit.
...Google him.

Well hit a milestone for me i'm down 10% from where i started, hell yeah, i'm a third of the way to my goal, but i do realize the the first part is the easiest and quickest ,
Is it weird that i'm actually starting to like not drinking everyday? and i don't miss it, don't get me wrong i still enjoy it and nothing like a cold one sometimes but ive only been having two at most, actually with losing the weight and cutting back i bet i could get lit a lot quicker,
