Appreciate it Rob! I purchased Interceptor over 2 yrs ago now. Sole owner/operator.
Good for you, I knew you were GM, RD informed me you purchased the partner out. Even better.
Go get the 26 ShadowDeck molds :)
Always said you turned around Ultra, the day you left, it went south quickly. Best thing you did was jump to Interceptor

Damn, @Interceptorboats you guys have really stepped up your game.

Paint vs. in mold gel really opens up the possibilities on colors and design. Just ask Skater.

Well done and congrats.

Appreciate that!

But we are 100% gel coat no paint. We just do it a bit different than everyone else. Since nearly all our boats are full cap we don’t do the graphics in the mold as they will be blocked off and resprayed anyhow. So we shoot the base colors and do all Gel graphics external. And that does allow for some points and details that just can’t be accomplished when pulling tape in the mold.
We ultimately find better results and actually faster than trying to blend and repair at the cap.

My electrician Brad had one built a few years ago and loves it. Ultra had his money for 6 months and never started his boat so he said screw it, got his money back and had Interceptor build him one. Beautiful boat. Talked to him a couple months ago when I had a guy on here call him about his boat he was thinking about having Interceptor build. He still loves it. He has the 565 in it.

He supplies his customers with lots of up to the minute pictures of their build and maintains a really precise communication with them also. I couldnt have been more pleased with the communications on my build. I am in Oklahoma and everything was handled over the phone or by text. If anyone wants a recommendation dont hesitate to contact me. Mine went in the mold on Jan 1st 2024 yes new years day and was ready on march 29 2024 if memory serves me right. Yes 3 months to the day and none of that 6 month take your money and wait like some of the other manufactuers. Cant say enough good things about Andrew Price and his crew at Interceptor Custom Boats. I am not smart enough to do it mainly because I am 71 and can barely operate the phone. But you can go to the Interceptor Custom Boat website and you can go back down the page to Jan 1 2024 and thats mine in the red and white gel. The rest of the dates for pics are on March 7, 14 and 29 then go to April 2 and 11. Hope that helps
