Pending payment this is sold, I took a deposit this evening.
I thought I'd see if anyone might want to pay a little more than the trade in price on my wife's Suburban. Our new Tahoe arrived so this needs to be a quick deal or it's off to the dealer or Carmax.
This Suburban only has about 50 tow miles on it. It has only towed our boat just to launch and retrieve which is a 2 mile round trip from our house in Parker. It has also never been offroad. We bought it new and it currently only has 39,104 miles (1/3 of those are just to/from the river) All service work done at Simpson Chevy in Irvine.
2017 white 2wd, 5.3 engine, 6-speed trans
Max Tow Pkg 3:42, brake controller, suspension package, auto locking rear differential
Enhanced driver package: power adjustable pedals, 8" touch screen, forward collision alert, Lane assist, safety alert seat, low speed braking
cloth seats, fold flat 60/40 2nd and fold flat 60/40 3rd row seats (seats 8)
Added:
Amp Research power steps with lights. (I'm removing these if it gets traded in and will sell them if they don’t work with new brackets on a 2024)
3" front / 1" rear lift
20" fuel matte black wheels with 275/60/20 Falcon Wildpeak AT's (33's) The plastic inner fender liners are trimmed so they don't rub
Roof rack
Tint
I recently replaced the factory rear air shocks with controllable air shocks and installed an Air compressor/tank under the car with a gauge in center console....... and I added a train horn from the air tank on an independent dash switch. Why? because train horn.
The body/paint look great, no noticeable dents or scratches, no big interior stains, nothing that wouldn't go away with a good detail. The dog fur is included at no extra charge.
The brakes were just squeaking but the dealer just checked them at the recent oil change and they are 55/65 I believe and was told the squeaking is normal with pad wear and there is no brake cleaning service. I have the same issue with a 2021 Silverado at 45k mi.
Cons:
AC just stopped working last week, I haven't even had it looked at.
Chip in windshield right in front of the driver
2 minor accidents both repaired through insurance and neither I can blame my wife for: 1. Hit on pass side while parked when it was fairly new 2. a few years ago a car drifted into my lane and hit the pass front fender and bumper, both fully replaced with oem parts.
1 of the second row seat's belt retractors broke and the entire mechanism and belt in the pilar was replaced $$$ but the new belt is a different shade color.... nothing other than cosmetic color issue
I haven't noticed it in awhile but the factory radio would randomly skip channels but works fine with buetooth.
Carmax's offer is $25,400 (pic below with vin#) and I can keep the Amp Steps and… train horn If anyone wants it for $27,000.00 in the next few days let me know
