Never happen. Good thread bump though.
what do mean never,.... it's been done before... people made canoes. out of tree logs, can't see why you couldn't cut a hole and add seats in the front of a boat.... don't open bows use the same mold???

how much to make this an open bow???
Do you think that would be cost effective? You would have to re do all of the interior to get it to match. So by the time you cut the hole build the open bow seating and upholster the whole boat I would imagine you would be north of 10k atleast. So you would be into this boat for 40k. I would think a buyer would be better off to take his 40k and shop for an open bow to begin with.

I mean i don’t think anyone would cut up THAT particular boat because it looks too good as it is. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t.
Some manufactures use the same molds and a Sawzall. Hallett doesn’t.
But I guess you’re right, never is a strong word.

fair enough.... but i've been looking for 3 yrs, and my wife wants no part of a closed bow boat,... she's owned 5 deck boats and now has a tri toon... either we go out in the pontoon or she don't wanna go...

No. Hallett 210 had 2 deck molds. I'm pretty sure the 210 was never "cut" from the factory to make an open bow.

Can any of you good people share any insight on how the 210 hull handles in rough chop? I have no experience in these boats. Thank you.

210 is a great handling 21' boat. One of the best you can buy.

With that said it's a 21' boat and needs to be treated accordingly on big windy days.

We have a 210 and a 255. What is rough chop to you? For a 21, it does very well. It can handle most of what Havasu dishes out. But It's not a wave crusher like a 240 or 255. The 210 is a great family boat.
