Please come take it out of my way before I have to move it to the storage shed.
I have a complete 1983 Mercruiser 350 (260 HP) with less than 150 hours on it. This is a complete motor, exhaust manifolds, exhaust boots, carb, alpha coupler, motor mounts. Also includes over $100 of new hoses for it.
I purchased this with an Eliminator I was going to repower but decided in the end to sell the boat and buy an open bow instead. So if someone wants this fine, otherwise I'll end up dropping it into my houseboat once I finish up my other projects it's that great of an engine I feel. So no I won't take $500 for it.
The cold compression was around 145-155 on all cylinders. The oil pressure at idle was 35 psi. I do have a video of it running before I pulled it from the boat. Power steering pump and all accessories so basically ready to drop in. I would probably recommend replacing the circulating pump since I have the new molded hoses and such off for it. I would also recommend replacing with the rest of the hoses and belts since it's easy to do now.
The story I was told was that the boat was used every year but obviously not many hours. The hour meter was working and with the compression where it is I believe the under 150 hours is probably correct.
