I have a friend looking to purchase bulk ammo in SoCal. Does anyone have any recommendations for stores that have competitive pricing?
Depends what it is he is looking for most have limited supply and are expensive he can try online and verify they ship to Ca.
I bought some ammo at LAX Ammo in Huntington Beach a few years ago. Not sure on the prices now.
Things sure have changed.32 cents a round for 9mm is their current deal. That’s before taxes.
Seems like maybe that’s the new norm.
Sportsman's warehouse had CCI blazer 9mm on sale for 13.99 per box of 50 here in Nevada. Not sure if Sportsmans is in California, but they had mountains of it. Pretty sure that equates to .28 a round.
You guys can't do online ordering in California? You can usually get 223 for low .40s online.
I pay 256 after tax in az locally for a case of 9mm 115.
.223 is 475 per case plus tax.
Phx. North Glendale. There’s a place in Tempe that’s got good prices but I don’t usually drift that far when I can stay close.PHX or Havasu?
Is California doing the 11% tax currently? This is the Big 5 deal right now. I know this isnt really bulk pricing at all....... but for a walk-in store.... doesnt seem too bad. (I have NO idea about this manufacturer or its quality).

I do believe the new tax has gone into effect. Is California doing the 11% tax currently?
Yes, My area is currently 18.75% tax on ammo purchases. Is California doing the 11% tax currently?
Yes. On top of state and local taxesIs California doing the 11% tax currently?
I remember when 9mm was .08 a round before obama was elected, it's just gotten worse from there. Democrats ruin everything.32 cents a round for 9mm is their current deal. That’s before taxes.
Seems like maybe that’s the new norm.
Just a heads up on the new tax. Picked up two $45 boxes of lead free hunting ammo for a buddy last month. The total was $140. I don’t think there’s a bulk price out there that could make a purchase in CA reasonable.I have a friend looking to purchase bulk ammo in SoCal. Bought ammo last Monday, in and out in less than 10 min with the background checkReading this thread last night made me think I should go to the range soon to practice. Haven't been in quite a while. Too long it seems as I went to my local gun store and was refused ammo because they have to do a background check. And add insult to injury the guy tells me that it may take 3 weeks. I keep getting more and more reasons to make a day trip to Arizona.
