Denny I am with you on this one, I like it when the pics are in the threads. I find my self more prone to click on a thread if it has photos in it. I have not really played with the whole deal yet, been very busy with work. I think that in order to have a good thread the authors will need to link up photos (best of) from thier gallery to the thread, tell the story and then post the hot link for full pics incase the viewer wants more. To manually click through a gallery looking at 100 pics is time consuming and I find my self getting bored saying fuck it and clicking back to the forum. I think its just a matter of time before folks start manipulating the new website features and creating better threads:thumbsup

I take alot of pics and put them on photobucket and flickr but if I want to load them here it says they're too big and need to be resized. I'm not about to load them elsewhere then resize them here to post a gallery, that would take all day and only takes about 5 minutes on photobucket with all the pics I take :thumbsdown

Not fimilar with Faststone here but you might look in help file or under menus for batch processing most photo type software has something along that line.

I also agree about pics in threads. The few galleriers I have gone to looks like they thru in every one they had for that particular event, where as when they only had 5 or so at a time they loaded only the cream of the crop. Also I really like it when people add a little narration to the pics in the thread mode

Denny nothing has changed as far as the board is concerned.. If you want to upload them one by one then that's fine.. As afar as th pics in the post they Are! Via the lightbox thing. It should pop right in the post but some people were having problems.. So I started adding direct links to the gallery so people could see the galleries until we figure it out.

On that note while I was on the phone with waterdog earlier.. In 3 minutes I uploaded about 200 pics and posted them in a thread.. The old way wouldve taken me a half a day..

I'm on vacation and am standing in line to check into the hotel invefas.. Any more attempts at mutiny will be dealt with swiftly and unflinchingly.. Lol

I'll pos 100 pics f Vegas a little later to show ya how easy it is..

Ps waterdog I hope to god you aren. Resizing those one by one! Just start a thread asking for help. To resize all of those should take a couple clicks and your computer will do therest.

Doing them one by one actually is taking 8 clicks per picture. I'm not very happy right now.

It depends on what I'm browsing from. If I'm on a computer, i prefer seeing pics in the threads.

On the I-phone, loading all the pics takes about 3.5 days:grumble::thumbsdown:swear

Loading things the new way is tough, have to limit myself to 100 pics, which means I'm going thru the pics anyways. once I've narrowed it down from the 2500 i take on a normal Ski-race weekend, it's a 3 min upload:thumbsup
