Looking at the flat friggin' amazing pics @Tommy Gun Images took at the 2014 Schiada regatta I found myself wondering what does the proper "set" for a v-drive cruiser look like? You know, that magical point where the hull, rigging, prop, plates and operator are all working in perfect unison to find the optimal amount of wetted surface to safely maximize the boat's potential. I'm hoping to splash my long term RC project this coming summer so the question is relevant (and timely I hope) and I really don't know what it looks like, much less feels like.
Is it this? (what ever this is, the guy in seat 2a appears to be having a helluva good time)
Or this?
This one?
I am pretty sure it's not this, but it sure looks like he's having fun.
And before the haters chime in "with top speed for any schiada always involves a trailer" lets agree this isn't the "set" I am asking about.
