Most memorable Christmas gifts were when I was 9 & 10 years old. From my grandparents, at 9 years old, I received a snare drum. It was new, but some unknown brand. Didn't matter to me. I began taking lessons. It was apparent I was dedicated and liking it. Christmas Eve the next year I received a professional grade Ludwig snare drum. I was stoked. The next day, Christmas morning I get up and there was a full kit of Ludwig drums under the tree. White marine Pearl. I continued to play those drums and added to them. At age 15 I began playing, for $$, in a surf band. Unfortunately, those drums were stolen out of our bass player's car after a gig one night. I was bummed, to say the least.

We don't do big gifts, and none of us need anything because we just buy it ourselves. Wife got me some new Ariat boots, son got me a Dewalt cordless saw. My best gift was a picture frame with a note from my daughter saying they are naming my grandson (due in Feb) Decker James so he has the same initials as me and that they couldn't think of anyone better for him to look up to. I was a mess from all the onions that were being cut...

Having 8 days off for Christmas was probably the best gift. I went back to work today for 6 straight. My girls still believe in Santa, and I’m guessing this was the last year for it. They are beginning to ask a lot of questions.

I got Social D/ Bad Religion tickets, a new pair of Keen work boots, and some Eliminator tee shirts. I dont ask or need anything so I was quite happy with my gifts.

Wife and I finally declared a truce on Christmas presents for each other after realizing we were spending enough to go on a nice vacation instead but we still stick something simple in each others stockings. Got some phone charger cables and BBQ stuff from her along with my candy and lotto scratchers. Daughter bought me a 4 trumpet train horn/compressor for my truck and a dozen stainless steel cups for around the pool.

Nice Lazer light combo. I have the tlr7a. Love it. My x400 is a Lazer light combo. With the red dot I don't really use it much. Love my tlr though. So compact for every day use.

I usually put some little things in the kids’stockings, and the wife’s too. My wife does the same. Candies, little liquor bottles and other small things. I guess the wife was busy this year.
