Some kind of pit mix with a pretty blocked head. Maybe a bird dog mix with pit. No tags, not fixed, friendly as fuck, thinks he is a lap dog, wagging his tail constantly, smiles and pretty hungry. Played pretty good with the small pup Ranger but Ranger is a roughian. Keeping him isolated from Phx as she is dominate and dont know how that will go.

I have notice on that "hood" site to see who will claim him.

I cant just drive by lost dogs. He ran over and jumped right in.

Hoping the owner contacts me soon. My son has named him Patch already.

I have good news and bad news ;) Honestly I always hope the dogs have gotten lost from a good home and they are reunited with their family's

Well that intro did not go well. Lol. Phx went right at him with aggressiveness. He was not sure what was going on. Phx knows the attention he will draw and doesnt want to share her humans. Just put Patch in a kennel and will see if phx will relax a bit

Understand 100%. Dogs have always gravitated to me and my son.

That is the craziest Argentine Dogo I have ever seen. My brother had 3 of them and they weren’t very well socialized…. Scary fucking dogs when he wasn’t around. My buddy has one that is very well socialized and is a sweetheart.

Isnt it normal that dogs tend to roam a bit in rural areas like yours? Its not Scottsdale where dogs wear booties and get pushed around in baby strollers. :)

Growing up we just let our dog out, never sure where he went but he always came back.

You know...I just looked them up and i guess he possibly could be. If thats what he is I want to keep him. Phx will make the call though.

We brought home a pup to our 2yo that loves to play with other dogs a couple months ago, i thought they will play and have so much fun, not! Our dog hated her first week, then started warming up, now they are always together but still try to be first to get best spoton dads lap.

I am 99% sure it’s Argentine Dogo. Some have spots but not colored like that, very unique. Could be mixed with something else but it’s definitely Dogo.

Hmmmmm. He looks like he has adult teeth. Maybe 1.5-2 years old. Doesnt look like he will approach the 90-100lb size. He is scared of phx and loves to stick next to you and look up as you walk.

Interesting happy pup and I would love to keep him but Phx wants no part of him. She is being offensive towards him. What a shame ;(

If he is A Dogo and not fixed he is worth some money for sure

He will spend the night in the garage. Phx is a pretty selfish pup being a Heeler. We shall see as I continue to look for the owner. Would be a shame to have to turn him in to the animal shelter.

Love these stories..... obviously a super cool special dog.... as for your dog they'll do their dog thing and if both males or both females expect violence as they establish hierarchy.... thats just animal kingdom stuff and expected/ necessary.... might be some blood but its all temporary. Do your utmost to not hand over to a Kill Shelter if possible should owner not show.

Ok. Pup update

We were looking for another and Patch seemed to fit the bill but Phx said he had to go so he did. He would make a perfect pet for someone but Phx had final say so.

This girl is 5 months old. A full blooded American Bully named Wrinkles. Going to be apx 90lbs. She was one of 10 pups in a litter and is very calm. Very nice dog and both Ranger and Phx have already accepted her so she has a new home with us. Dont know what problem Phx had with Patch but she shows none of that with Wrinkles. Beautiful loving pup. Took her for her first walk and she wouldnt move with the leash on until Phx led her.

Feel very fortunate to get this pup and that all three can get along.

Here she is. New name to follow

Take him to a vet for a quick check, and a scan for a chip. 😉
