Not getting there until late friday night...hopefully with the boat in tow...long block is together just waiting on some parts from the polisher...I will know tomorrow when it goes on the dyno etc.

I will be boating all day sat and sun...probably head home sunday afternoon.

Get there Friday evening. Grab a beer and some sockets and begin changing out the water pump impeller...... and all the rubber exhaust couplers ( :swear ) on the starboard motor:thumbsdown........ They don't like to get hot it seems

I think the plan is going to be to meet at the bluewater casino beach area at 9-10am on saturday morning, check out the boats for a while, then take a ride up to the dam, and on the way back down stop at the beach area across from foxs-sundance. Riverdave mentioned something about possibly having a bbq at his place later on saturday at his place in the keys. He said he had room for about 8 boats.

There is a new place called JD's right across the street from where your staying.. Used to be Clearmans, then a mexican place called "Julios" and now it's JD's..

If anybody wants to get together for Dinner, that's where me and mine will be. LOL

I dunno for sure.. It was open last time I was out there. The bar looked like it had the same old locals drinking in it when I went by..

When it was Julios it was hard to beat their rib eye cause living in LA their mexican food was worse than taco bell.

I tried the new place, they forgot to drain the lettuce or chill the plate for the wedge salad, the cut of meat didn't stand out in my memory either. It is nice to walk to dinner though to avoid any drinking/driving issues and it sure beats going hungry.

If I had a house I would have a BBQ, but they are all occupied. Looking forward to some rivertime and seeing the Schiadas.

On a side note I dropped by Brummett on Tuesday around lunch time. Walked around looking for anyone to talk to and it was a ghost town. I think they were int he house eating lunch I guess. All sorts of nice parts just sitting around.....who do all those boats belong to as some seem to never move.

They don't eat lunch until about 2...I am sure they were in the engine room behind the main shop...they had an engine on the dyno and finishing up mine to go on the dyno today. I know there is only 3 guys there so things dont get done quickly but they do get done right...everything that leaves there is top notch and nothing will ever be fixed with duct tapa and bailing wire.

Didn't take it negatively at all...there is some seriously nice stuff around there.

My motor is on his dyno as we speak he's adjusting valves and will be making some pulls around noon today...I will post some # s when I get them.

No I stayed with the carbs but put on some huge turbos...they are the same size as the EFI turbos...its on the dyno as we speak...expecting somewhere around 1300 hp on race gas and 17 lbs of boost.

It's a blue Scarab called Satisfaction.
