It's funny you say this! Before I heard the news of the shooting, I was knee deep in trimming trees in the backyard. Of course I was soaking in the sun and listening to Ivan and the boys. Their song "Bulletproof" had just finished when I started getting text messages about DJT. I can't think of a more appropriate song that symbolizes OUR President!

I had Def Leopard on a thumb drive loaded in my rig and when I hopped in it Sunday morning the song Billy's got a Gun started midway through. The chorus was at at the perfect point in the song "can you feel it in the air ? there is danger in the air!". THAT is where we are right now...dangerous times. I wasn't around for the 60's, Kennedy and MLK assassination's but I bet this feels the same to those alive at the time.

Having been born in ‘54, I was only 8 when JFK was assassinated, so I didn’t FULLY understand the impact. However, even at that, I recall the somber mood around me, and was glued to the TV. I was watching live when Oswald was shot by Ruby.
Then RFK and MLK, Vietnam with all of the protests (including Ohio State), Black Panthers, Chicago Seven, and more…..yeah, turbulent times.
