I received a phone call today. Seems one of my friends and his wife (beautiful drop dead gorgeous blonde) are going through some pretty rough times and have been for awhile. Most of the people that know them never expected it to last. A lot of us had bets, with most of them being around a year or two. I gave them 5, but only because I know he is the type that will do anything in his power to save his marriage, even if she isn't wanting to. You name it, she is getting it if it is within his means to do so. It has lasted just over 5 years (I was close). She is leaving him after Christmas.

Never know what to say in times like these. I once heard that once a person can walk away from a relationship and can speak about his or her ex without any emotion then is it truly over. I have an ex-wife who I really don't like, and I wouldn't care if she dropped of the face of the earth if it wasn't for my daughter. I can give two shits about her or her personal life. Seems like you have some unfinished business with her, or else you'd be satisfied with what you now have and be able to completely drop her from your mind.

I'm not surprised about your breakup or that she found someone so quickly. After she broke up with her previous boyfriend she found you rather quickly and you two got hitched without really getting to know each other.
