I sit down to eat and watch a cooking show. I come across all kinna crazy stuff.

Today I started a show called...

Jose Andres and family In Spain.

They are starting in Barcelona, and eating all over the place. They went to some restaurant today that I just wanted to share with you guys.

I'm gonna have to be poor somewhere else, but this food looks FUCKING amazing.

$920.91 for two....

I lived in Spain for almost 4years, went there weighing 165, came back stateside weighing 205. Yes the food there is that good! I didn’t come stateside the whole time, came back and I thought the food I was getting was terrible. Took time to adjust.

We stayed at the W hotel for a week. Took recommendations of where to go from the front desk and employees. They never let us down. There are Americanized places to eat there, but we stayed away from them because we wanted the authentic stuff. Tapas are legit there. So much good stuff to try. Best part is that it's not that expensive.

So a guy goes into this restaurant in Spain, and says what’s your special of the day. The waiter says that they get the balls from the loser at the bullfights and they cook them up special. So the guy says, great, I’ll try that. The waiter brings the plate out and two giant balls of meat are on the plate and it smells heavenly. The guy eats it and totally enjoys it.

A couple days later the same guy goes back to the same restaurant and says he’ll have the special. This time the waiter brings out the plate and the balls of meat are tiny. The man demands to know what the hell happened to the giant balls of meat the night before.

The waiter apologised profusely and tells him, Senor, some times the bullfighter wins, and sometimes he loses.

@rivermobster …Spain is beautiful, food is amazing and the people are nice. If I ever go back, I would go to Costa Brava, north of Barcelona. Although Barcelona is nice it’s a cit, i did spend much time there. The beaches are incredible. Now down to food, my favorite dish would be the paella
, particularly the Vallecia version. Lots of smaller cities to visit. Stay in the right lane if decide to drive or they will be flashing lights at you. I didn’t want to leave when I did, but the job dictated a move back state side. I loved living there, practice your Spanish no one speaks English. My absolute best place to visit was Llorett de Mar.

I hear ya, my wife speaks excellent spainish, my best friend from there spoke no English and I spoke very limited spainish. We got a long great, had lots of fun. You’re making me home sick now…I need to go back!

When my daughter first started dating her boyfriend, his family didn't know she spoke Spanish, and at a family party, one of the cousins was going on and on (in Spanish) about beautiful she is!

Her boyfriend and his mom are busting up laughing! When the cousin says "what's so funny"?

Mom tells her...

Ummm, she understands Spanish and knows every word you just said?

At that point Everyone had a good laugh!
