What kind of winter temps you see over there?

This is my 1st winter living here. Its been crazy temp swings. Monday was 63° & Tues was mid 50s then started snowing after midnight. We've had a few nights around 7° but everyone says that's rare. Lots of variety with temps both night & day. 6-59° for lows, 20-72° for highs since December. Plenty of days I would have been boating if I currently owned a beater with windshield

The greater Albany, NY area it's 37 and raining right now. The forecast for this evening temps will drop into the 20's. Rain changes to freezing rain/sleet with 3" to 5" of snow expected. Friday, temps in the 20's and 3" to 5" more inches of snow expected. We will see.

Driving the sitter home, i must have seen 25 SxS’s cruising around in the snow, at the gas station, in front of the few stores that are open.

Its 20 degrees…I’ll enjoy the climate comfort and heated seats in the suburban LOL

We have lots of places to off-road. It’s just a fraction of the southwest.

It’s snowing like crazy and there’s hardly any cars on the roads. Not really legal but it’s not like the cops can catch them…I doubt they care TBH

It’s pretty thing snow, maybe an inch or two. People snowmobile across lakes so anything is possible, but it’d be a waste in current conditions.

Drove across the ice on Lake Winnebago near Oshkosh, WI in my truck this morning.

The huts to the right are fishing shanties that are staged to go further out on the ice for the opening of sturgeon spearing this weekend. The ice is about 18” thick, and the local fishing clubs have marked a path across the ice with Christmas trees about every hundred yards.

There will be thousands of people on this lake this weekend.

It was a tick chilly here the other morning.

Well its still snowing here a little. We didn't get as much snow. We got a lot of rain/sleet and maybe 3" of snow. Still a bitch to deal with. It's kind of packed snow. Not fun to deal with.

I was able to get into my pickup yesterday afternoon through the passenger side and then got my driver door open, drove around a bit to warm up, roads were not bad. This morning it was really stuck, took 15 minutes with my heat gun to get the door open again.
