Here's the boat my Dad drove in Super stock and the ski races in the early 70's
Slippery when Wet . That's me on the deck at our house in Lakewood ca. I think I was 7/8 yrs old I'm 56 now

If anybody would have any pictures of this boat racing I would really like to have some copies This is the only picture I could find after my dad passed away in all of our arsenal of pictures I know there was more but don't know what happened to them

Not the same boat, but here is mine from one of it's previous lives. Very very very similar other than the RHD

Constantly looking for more info on her racing heritage but haven't found it. The similarities to the one your Dad drove is trippin me out. I'm wondering if they both had the same owner and who that guy was..

Did he own and race other Hallett flatties?

The fact that you've had a hard time finding info on the boat your Dad raced doesn't make my hunt look much more promising... lol

The one your dad raced looks a lot like a long deck Hallett and I believe even has the emblem but correct me if I'm wrong... Mine is painted almost identically and is also a 71' Hallett

Yes it was the long deck. it was the only HALLETT my dad drove. My old man went to step up his game and had a KELRON SPITFIRE and was thinking about getting into a k boat but I don't know what happened I was still semi-young why it never happened.

Skyskier Renegade was a inline twin engine Campbell it was yellow and orange it belonged to Muravez ........
Thread brings back alot of memories.
I skied with the Lathrop’s out of Snug Harbor in Carlsbad in the mid seventies.
Saw “Goosebumps” listed.
Mr. Brice pulled me a few times.
On the Renegade, I restored it a few years ago.
It was in super rough shape and had the Orange on it.
We took it back to its original livery.
Amazing boat to drive.
Torque was incredible.
Almost 1300 at 3300!
