Good news man.......hopefully the "smaller" problems can clear up maybe or get better.
Chemo. Its some fucked up shit. He says it's the cisplatin that did me in. But there's a reason that they've used it for 50 years.
Did the tingling in your feet, hands and the earring start when you started the drug or after you stopped it?
The ear ringing started around the time I started my third cycle. The hands and feet issue came on about a month after finishing my chemo.
Is the tingling painful like shocks or just numb? Any other strange side effects? Sounds like neurotoxicity and withdrawal, drugs can do some strange shit. I have heard of people coming off illegal drugs and legal drugs having the same sensations. It usually goes away from what I have read. Just be careful the Neurologist may want to put you on drugs for it if it's painful (research all side effects). Some MS patients have a very similar symptoms (tingling) that are painful which is called Neuralgia (nerve pain).
Well it's been a little over a year since I started my chemo. Had a ct scan and labs taken last week. Saw my oncologist today. Everything's clear. I still have 2 small shadows of where the Cancer was but they most likely are just residuals as he called it. Like scar tissue. Good news is they've actually gotten smaller since my last Ct scan back in June. And the tumor markers are normal. Bad news is my tingling in my hands and feet are most likely permanent. Along with my ear ringing and hearing issues. But I guess it beats the alternative.

Just realized my 2 year anniversary of starting chemo is a few days away. Crazy how fast time has gone by. Seems like it was yesterday. Fuck cancer.
Wow, has it been that long already?
It really does seem like yesterday.
Got to tell you, much respect here.
Working your job through all the treatments and doctors can not have been easy, knowing what it's been like for us, I can't even imagine.

Very happy for you and your family. Stay healthy and go hug that little one because they grow up so fast.
Sounds similar to a "slipadicktome".Addadicktome?
Hope everything is ok :thumbsup
