By time stamp above . My post above sent this thread OFF of the NEW POSTS area, and back to the Lounge only .

This thread was about 60 (+-) out of 200, and my post sent it off that ranking ?

Placed a post in "Machining" last night, little after 9 PM . It never showed up on NEW POSTS, at all .

The site does not do this in P & G, (very quick responses) but most everywhere else, my posts/replies are lost for hours or days, having been sent back to the AREA of the post, but not back to that thread remaining in the NEW POST LIST .

Hope you can understand what I'm saying ........

It may not show up in your "New Posts" feed because you wrote it, or already read it.
But it likely shows up in everyone else's "new post" feed until they read it.

At least thats the way it seems to work for me.

What I do is click the "reply" button next to the post, then scroll to other posts and click the reply button in those as well. It puts the text in the text box for you.. Then you can type in between them.

Real Emoji's will require a software upgrade to XF2. I'm ironing all the bugs out of XF1 before we do the upgrade, but it will be coming soon.

Dave, I gotta say, this new forum software is pretty awesome. I added a pic last night and didn't specify full size so it was uploaded as a thumbnail. I just went back and edited it with about two clicks for the full image.

Previous version showed first few sentences of the first post when you hovered over the thread title which was a nice feature. Now it just says go to first post.

Yes. It's a security setting that is currently disabled for your member group.

It would be a nice convenience, otherwise I have to scroll all the way to the top of the page for new post. The Clock option doesn’t work for me because I have a big obnoxious OtterBox

We have never been able to upload video directly to the site.. It's always been youtube and then link to here. That's something I'm considering changing.
