Now hearing upgraded to a 7.3. Thats a big one

Just had a 5.0 aftershock. Been going off along that whole fault line.

My youngest was home sick today. His school is on the flood plane in the Arcata Bottoms and they chose not to evacuate. Even sent out a message saying they were fine and would not be evacuating. There is a hill less than 1/2 mile from the school that is well above the tsunami line, but chose not to. Fortunately there wasn't a tsunami, but parents are pissed!

She probably felt the Quake in Cobb which is the Geyser area of Sonoma County. 4.1 on the scale literally 3 minutes after the big one farther north. I'm guessing it was spurred on by the larger quake. Both of these areas have frequent quakes.
I didn't feel either one.

I was just in Eureka and Fort Bragg Tuesday and Yesterday. Glad no tsunami hit.
