I live less than 10 minutes away and have never been. Hear it is a lot of fun though. Rv campground across the street owned by Silverwood with shuttle to and from the park makes it real convenient. Another real nice rv campground that is real close is Ravenwood. From the outside the Amusement Park looks a lot like Knotts Berry Farm years ago. Wood Roller Coasters, many other rides and old western store fronts. Seems to drawnpretty big crowds, but not Disneyland size crowds. Sorry, not much help.
It's been years since I've been there but we enjoyed it. Just don't expect Disney level facilities and attractions. Far better than a local county fair, just not world class Universal Studios/Disney level.
If you are planning on using the water park, go online and reserve a Cabana. It will give you a basecamp to put your stuff (private lockers) and they have wait staff that is dedicated to that area. Go early and hit the rides, then go to the waterpark and relax/cool down, then hit the rides again.
