Sig P320 discharging without a trigger pull

So is this a real problem or is it because people are switching to lowers that don't have the safety, like the video posted shows? I know a lot of this stuff ends up being a big knee jerk pile on, i wonder if anyone here has some real insight.

I shot a 365 over the weekend, fantastic carry gun, also shot the hellcat, i couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with that piece of shit.

I would never buy another Springfield Armory product again. I have one in my safe that has been back to the factory because of light primer strikes and it came back with the same issue. Absolute POS.

My XD9 has been great, it feels more comfortable than a Glock to me.

Although I am about to buy a Gen 5 Glock just to piss off my die hard Glock buddies who don’t have the balls to move out of CA

My POS is an XDs 9. I also own a XDs 45 but have not put many rounds through it. The XDs 9 was a carry gun but it's a paper weight now. I will never trust my life with that gun again. Biggest POS I have ever owned.

Crazy how different guns can be. My buddy has an XD 40 and it is flawless but I have read and heard that the XD platform is good or bad, no in-between and that's why they have a bad reputation, he got a good one.

Cops and trained professionals always carry chambered.
It’s necessary for them to be ready to shoot at all times.
A manual safety or not is a personal choice.
Cops also open carry, with good holsters that prevent trigger pull.

When Joe Citizen chambers one and sticks it in his belt he’s just asking to shoot his own dick off…and sometimes does.

I have a P226. It has no safety and I don't carry. I'll keep the mag in it, but don't cock it unless I intend to fire it. I'm not a Cop and probably closer to "Joe Citizen", hence the extra step in firing my gun to keep from shooting my dick off

What you posted is EXACTLY the reality of the situation.
None of my fellow shooters carry charged.
My instructor is all about being chambered and ready.
I, like you, am NOT a cop or John Wick. Drives him crazy that I refuse to carry charged…especially concealed.
Cops train all the time to draw under duress.
Some civilians do too.
I see them at the range all the time doing meaningful training.
I see others too…the ones who will most assuredly end up in the ER self inflicted. For a good number of well meaning citizens, carrying charged in a concealed manner is potentially more dangerous than any possible (and improbable) threat.
So, I figure with the odds of me using my weapon at an almost incalculably small %, and an even smaller number as compared to a cop, just having a weapon puts me in a better position than the average person without the increased risk of a NG.

I don’t typically train much with my handguns, not enough to warrant pretending to be a cop.

My thing is long range.
I love it. Dialing in a bad ass scope at long distance and the math and ballistics is just cool to me.

Besides, my mace and taser are my first go to.
