I'm wondering if anyone is using Red-Dot on their pistols and what you think of them on handguns?

I’m done resisting, and will soon have the slide on a G19 cut for a red dot.

I’m concerned about the added size, but the acquisition speed and ease is noticeable.

I didn't know about the P365SAS when I bought my P365 (or maybe it wasn't available yet - not sure).

The SAS only came out last year.

What BM94 said is spot on. The red dots take a lot of training to get used to the site picture and the issue with debris and what not can in fact complicate it. But they do have their benefits if you're properly trained and are on top of it.

I have an Aegis Elite -- My first handgun with a red dot -- and have to agree, It takes some getting use to. I'll have to put a few hundred more down range before I decide if it's a keeper!

Ah! Thought it was a Scorpion for a sec. I have the Sig GSR 1911. Probably the best shooting handgun I have. It is absolutely incredible.
