So let’s just say you have a Sig .40 model 2022.
What holster would you choose?
Hip mount, concealed or not concealed.

I’ve got the 9mm version and I carry it at 4 o’clock IWB when I do carry it.

All of my handguns are carried similarly, no issues.

I just got a belly band the other day because I hate how mine pulls down my shorts, I always wear board shorts during the summer so I thought I would try it out For $29 its worth a try. I also have a IWB holster for my glock43 but its not the most comfortable.
So far I like it and it holds an extra clip

Arizona still let you open carry?

Still remember it was like 1999 and I'm going to visit a buddy in Phoenix. Driving down the 10 coming into Phoenix and look over. Full patched H.A. with a 1911 strapped to his hip. Ca. kid here, that was some culture shock. LOL

Arizona has constitutional open and concealed carry. No permit required for either. You can get a concealed weapon permit and the only difference between that and not having a permit is it allows you to conceal in a restaurant or a bar that serves alcohol on the premises with the caveat being that as long as the business does not have signage specifically stating to not carry a weapon on site and if theyArizona has constitutional open and concealed carry. No permit required for either. Arizonian here, A couple buddies asked me to go to a class with them but I could not understand the reason. When done with the class I asked what it was all about and both said it was a whole bunch of legal stuff about when one shoots some dump ass liberal!! :D

For guys in constitutional carry states...getting a concealed carry license allows you to carry in other states that have reciprocity with your state.

Just something to consider [emoji106]

And if you get a NV CCW, you can send off to FL for your CCW there and get the most coverage across the states!

That's about 90% of the class. Unfortunately, seeing some of the posts about when people think they can shoot, it justifies the class. There is little to no instruction on how to shoot, its all about when, where etc.. Laws change all the time so its always good to stay up on them if you chose to carry. That and a good attorney on retainer doesn't hurt.

In NV, Class and proficiency with "EACH" gun you plan to carry is required. I did 5 at the time. ;)

Making indiviual firearms certed for you to carry is fucking stupid and typical left wing state government infringement on rights.

Most PD's make you qualify with each duty and off duty gun. Thats probably the logic they are following.

lol, police dept training is pretty sad and shouldnt be a gold standard.

I don’t have a problem with a Proficiency test but requiring people to do a proficiency test on each individual firearm to carry is absolutely fucking ridiculous. And what are you supposed to do down the road if you buy a new handgun that you want to carry you have to go back to the state to requalify just for that one gun. It’s just a money grab and politicians trying to be up in your shit for no reason at all hence why Arizona remove the requirement for concealed weapon permit in with the Constitutional carry because it’s the right to bear arms not the right to bear arms if we feel about it and if you have the right permit and it’s a Tuesday and you passed all of your tests

carry this holster if you want people to know you are untrained with firearms.
Now that's some funny Shit right there! 😆 .... When and if I'm Pac'n, the last thing I'd be thinking about is someone thinking I'm untrained with firearms! 🤣

How about this one! :)

Requiring proven competency with said firearm is consistent with the “Well Regulated” part of 2A.

no the 2a is two parts. A well regulated militia and a separate right to bear arms.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

That is ONE SENTENCE, one very long purposefully written sentence. Not two parts, not ambiguous, just a simple powerful statement of a right combined with a responsibilIty.

The commas actually mean something.

All law enforcement is doing is giving you the permit to carry by conducting a background check, a basic firearms shooting qual and documenting everything for which you are permitted to carry. They are not going to take on liability to train you or defend you should an incident occur . It is up to you to have the proper mindset in which to use the weapon, know your rights and have legal representation should you need it.

I use the belly band for my Glock. Concealed under a tee shirt and doesn't pull my shorts down.

LOVE the 365. I'm going to pick up an SAS P365 soon.

I bought the same one for my P365 SAS. I have a Lima laser on it as well. I'm very happy with the fit and comfort for IWB concealed carry.

I didn't know about the P365SAS when I bought my P365 (or maybe it wasn't available yet - not sure).

I'm wondering if anyone is using Red-Dot on their pistols and what you think of them on handguns?

Red dots have there place but they are harder to be good at initial. Takes some training to find the dot fast.

it also shows how much you move a lot more lol

they can get debris on them that can cauSe sight picture problems like rain or oil etc

I run a Romeo red dot on my P320 Xfive
