I'm not bashing cops and I understand their hands are tied with policies and budget in many areas. I'm just proposing a solution to remove rif raff from cities in a private way. I don't this its the best use of police force to have them chasing homeless and illegal vendors from private property; they have better things to do. I get its a trespassing issue, but the landowners could be incentives to remedy the solution without the need for police.

So we need $200k+ a year civil servants to enforce this? I kind of think that cops have more important things to do and if we want to pay them generously and offer killer retirements, then cuts need to be made elsewhere so we can have more of them (I think that would be awesome). Obviously that isn't going to happen because a lot of this chaos is by design.

No they wouldn't, they would arrest and fine the legitimate business owners.
