I'm new to this, and really like the results I got. I'll try to keep this active, but I only go up to check on the cabin once a month at most. So far it's been working great. Other than tree branches blowing in front of the lens or rain.
How do you guys set up your cameras? Also, which ones do you use?

We have two on our lot in Prescott. One is a Stealth cam, strap it to a tree and collect the flash drive when we visit. The other is a Reolink GoPT cell wireless surveillance cam that is solar powered, it rotates 355 degrees and can be viewed remotely.

Those are way better quality. I just wasn't sure what to buy or how to set it up. There is a bunch of sensitivity settings and duration of recording. I just went with the default settings

The wireless always interested me. However, there is no cell service anywhere close. We use satellite phones for outside contact. It seems the good quality ones are all cell wireless. That's a nice buck and looks to be a fox in the other. The lions always concern me thankfully I've only seen a few

I would love to show a big horn sheep. They are there and a rare sighting. I've only seen them a few times

Where is that? My father lives outside Bonners ferry in Idaho and has seen some nice elk. But Dammmm.. that first one is nice
Yea, nice bull and not done yet. That is a little spring water source I found just walking in the back-country at my Cabin in Munds park.

That’s unit 6A, not known for big bulls. Lots of low 300” bulls.

Just a note...

Arizona Game and Fish just passed a regulation regarding trail camera use during hunting seasons.

I’m not sure of the verbiage so you should look it up

Put up a new camera last month on the front door, don't mind the mess the cabin is under construction.

It's almost the end of bear season. They know when I'm there.

Couple of backyard bucks in N Idaho.

My cousin has trail cam video of a FL panther chasing a hog in the big cypress.

new location. I've been given an opportunity to be the caretaker of this 100 + year old cabin. I took it. I will update on a the same thread. Obviously I have to try some new angles for the 2 year old trail cameras I purchased. The rain made it difficult to even get to this remote area. The water and springs are flowing good. Wildlife is abundant, should be a good summer. Cheers
