I had an issue with the carrying strap on one of my 48 pack coolers over the weekend. While it was only the 3rd time using the thing, I thought it would be a long shot to have it covered by warranty. Today after work I stopped by and brought it in. The gal at the front desk looked at it and said she has yet to see one do what mine did and said it looked to be a flaw in the material. She took it to the back and walked out 30 seconds later with a new one. Customer service like this unfortunately is a rare deal anymore. I will be picking up a few more to add to my collection of 5 already.

Wish I lived closer. Have 2 that leaked from the get go. Need to warranty but not worth the drive with traffic.

That's funny . They told me to pound sand . They don't warranty the straps or replace them .

Do they cover the shipping? Hate to send them and have them tell me pound sand and be out even more money on the shipping.
Not sure about the shipping but they gave me a new one when it leaked and changed the liner in another one.

Don’t know.... they were great to me and I have a brand new one in the wrapping setting in the back seat of my truck because of it.

I've had one in my amazon cart for a while now I plan to pick up the 48 can cooler also. I remember meeting these guys when the company was new at the TDS Jeep safari. Nice guys

I’ve had 4 made through Amber. All four have been great. All of them are the Made in the USA ones, So I cannot speak to the quality of the Chinese ones they sell.

They are solid. My new liner started leaking and I am bringing it in next week. Pretty sure they will fix it, but if not, I would be happy to by a new one at a discounted price!

How do these coolers compare to RTIC coolers looking at buying a few for each of the trucks before the summer

Don’t know about shipping but they will fix it or replace it. I bought a 3 pack (small,, Med and Large) about 15 years ago, and one had a leak after 5 years on the Medium size one. I had moved to Texas from San Clemente by then, they just shipped me a replacement, didn’t ask to ship the old one back...didn’t charge for shipping. I have all three 15 year old coolers and they all still work great.

Gave up on AO’s years ago, I have stacks of the things in the garage, all they are good for is keeping food cold. Tired of the leaks. Bought RTIC soft sides and I don’t have any further issues.

Last time I went into their factory, I opened many Chinese boxes and when I saw the cooler, they said "Made in the USA" which was obviously sewn on by Chinese laborers.

TRUST but VERIFY.

My zipper stitching got ate by the sun after 3 yrs. But I will say during the same time frame a buddy of mine returned his Yetti bag each year due to the zipper.

Its always been hit or miss for me there. I had a liner replaced in one and they charged me like $10 bucks for shipping. Only complaint was it took like 5 weeks to get it back.

I had been buying AO for years. Ended up with 4 leaky AO coolers.
I dropped two of them off in Corona. $20 to replace the liners. Took 2-3 weeks and I picked them up.
No warranty offer. No exchange offer. Not even a sorry about the leaks the new liners are much better.

I’ve since spent $ on Rtic and was given a yeti as a gift. The AOs get used more as food/dry good totes... if at all.

Edit* Recently had someone I gave an AO to as a gift a few years ago contact me to tell me it was leaking.
