Shopping for golf cart question

We got a cart. Its more than that I was originally shopping for and spent a bit more than I wanted...but its pretty awesome and I'm happy. Wife and kids are happy too. Its over at Wicked Carts right now getting a back seat.

I'm pretty sure we're going to attach hitch to it and hang off the back of the cart so we can put an ice chest on it. Randy at Wicked Carts is going to figure out this week if that's something we can do with it.

Ha Ha. Its done. A little bit of tweaking to get it to fit with this roll cage. I was told by Monster carts that there was no way to get it to fit and I'd have to buy an entire new cage. Glad I went to Wicked Carts.

I'm picking it up tomorrow. Randy is pretty cool and got this taken care of for me right away so we can take it camping this weekend. now I will just need to go back and get the seats recovered to match the front seats.

Congrats on the new ride! Whatever you do, don't put the long travel rear kit from Jakes on it. They are great kits if you plan to travel slow, and I mean less than 20mph, but they sway like crazy especially if you have 300+ pounds on the cart. Glad it worked out for you. Check the oil and that motor will run a long time.

Thanks for the info. I will make sure to check the cart oil frequently. I want this motor to last. We'll treat it right. Not planning any major structural stuff for now. In a year I'd like to stretch the cart. Won't do the jakes rear end though. in the meantime I want to do a few cosmetic things like:

get another set of retractable seat belts
recover the back seat to match the front
fender flares
get a passenger side glove box or an entire new dash with speaker pods, not sure yet
l.e.d. underglow lights under the cart
overhead lights
paint it white
maybe add a few speakers an a sub
