Took a few pics of the boat show Friday as vendors were setting up. Set up day is always a good chance to walk around and see things without the crowds.

Here's a few shots of the Nordic booth. Thane and John do everything first class. They brought a lot of nice pieces out. In defense of any pics I post, some of the boats may not have been fully dusted off or wiped down before Saturdays show.

A Manitoo Surf Boss pontoon. They were driving through the lot so I didn't get a chance to check this out. I really wanted to see what the Surf part of it was.

This monster sized MasterCraft X26. You can't get the feel of how big it is in pictures. I'm sure the wake is huge. The prop was massive.....

Some other Mastercrafts as they were setting up. Seems that teal and tan interiors are the new trend in surf boats.

This would soon be vender row. There were only a couple of guys setting up Friday.

Advantage Boats bringing in one of their X-Flights. One of their most popular models.

There was every kind of golf cart and sxs imaginable there.

The Boat Brokers basically set up a city of pontoons and classic cars.

And that was about all I got on Friday. Next stop Conquest Boats.

Next stop Conquest. They had a couple boats in the rigging area. The two conquests belong to RDP members. The first one, the all white boat, got a new interior and the molded walk off front section. The second boat with the blue stripes had the steering changed from cable assist to full hydraulic helm, and the molded walk off also.

The Commander was getting a new bow-rider insert.

A couple of classic cruiser type seats. They really do a good job with older style boats, like Schiada's, Coles, Halletts, etc etc.

This is a new Flat deck cat they are working on. Looks like the plug and mold are built. It's got a 28 running surface and is set up for twin outboards. The tool work was done by Kornowski. The dash is set up so steering can be on other side, and room for a large screen in the middle of the dash. The profile was very low and sleek looking. It's getting a full windshield as well.

Then last but not least, I saw this on Saturday and tried wanted to grab a couple of pics. I really liked the fiberglass sides to it. Bennington has always had some of the plushest toons available. This is the QX 25 with a 400 on it.

On the bow walk off that was added, do they add conquest via stickers after the fact? Or did that guy just choose not to have the writing added?

That is correct, it's a sticker over the center part that gets added at the end. The second boat is getting that done as well.

I liked the grate system they had along the ezup sides.

Preston has football going on in his booth all day Sunday.

Stopped and said hello to Scott for a minute and talked with him about Sport Chassis.

And then I pretty went straight back to my booth in agony. Lol

Really liked the clean scheme on the ICB. Beautiful boat.

I was really disappointed that the show wasn't open Friday, I had made plans to go but then found out it was only Sat and Sun.
