Ideally you shouldn't be shooting 556 at steel much closer than 50 unless you have frangible ammo.

If someone is shooting at 10 yards, it's a case of thinning the heard. No democrat should even have an AR as their beliefs in politics is leading to the removal of the second amendment. You want to believe in their stance, then give up your weapons. That's just my stance.

IDPA says 10 yds minimum for pistols. USPSA says 100yds minimum for rifles. I've seen 50 yds in competition. Must need quite a bit of hold-over compensation at 10 yds. LOL
