It’s March!!! What’s the bets on how high the prices are gonna go by July!
Prices are the highest in my lifetime right now. And like I said, it’s not even summer!!

I paid $5.29 for 87 at a shell station in Sacramento yesterday. The Chevron across the street was $5.44.

I went to the dentist on Tuesday and decided to take the Volt through the canyon from Chino Hills to Brea and back. The Volt loves the city driving, I came back home and it still had a half of a battery left. The Excursion rarely sees CA Diesel but I may say screw it completely and leave it at the River and take the Volt or the Malibu to the River.

I bought some Exxon Mobil stock in March and April of 2020 when the shit hit the fan, then again when it started hitting the mid 40's back in 2021. I was pissed in August 2021 when it had only gone up $10 and all my other stocks were up 100%+. I kept it since it had an 8% dividend. I am glad I kept them now...up over 90%.

Yep, that is for sure. Back in 2008 or 2009 when diesel was $5 a gallon, the pump at our local Mobil stopped at $75. What a joke trying to fill up a 44 gallon tank.

Truthfully never calculated it. But with 60 gallons our usual program is launching out of nautical head towards needles one day, sandbar or ski to the dam one day and maybe a 3-4 hour day hanging at steam boat or copper canyon.

Rarely running under 4500 rpm and not stressing about running out of fuel.

If I had to guess 2-3 smiles per gallon.

And we run heavy. All of friends in outboards are probable doing 25-30% better because they leave the kitchen sink at home lol

That’s not bad, I was surprised to see my dads boat averaging 2 MPG at 60 with twin 400s. At least that’s what the computer says lol.

Its almost $2 per liter here in Vancouver. Its a record high for North American gas prices. Its already near $10 USD per gallon when converted. Summer will be worse. Canada has banned the import of Russian oil. The Feds have a carbon tax and so does my province. Both the Fed and provincial carbon tax are set to raise April 1st. We'll be over $11 per gallon when that happens.
