The issue is...

Does what they want fall within the laws of our country? If the answer is yes, with enough persistence and money, they will most likely get what they want!

The laws are for Everyone, yes?

We (boaters) Could get together and try and accomplish what We see fit! But do we???

To me...

It looks like the group I posted about is doing just that. And I applaud them for getting their act together and doing something besides just flapping their lips.

So now we come full circle to your original question...

Couldn't someone else do the same thing? To get something they don't like banned?

The food for thought is that those that scream and yell about access seem to whine about WHO has the access.

Glamis people want less people there, want UTVs outlawed, etc. well you just alienated the source of your biggest revenue and support.

River people want wake boats banned. Wake boats might be the most popular boat style out there most weekends.

So you are easily divided and conquered by the Greens who just want no access period.
