But all assemblies, open house, meetings, field trips are on hold until April 13, so a full closing may happen.

My wife was supposed to be doing some work at a Carlsbad school event today(Aviara). It got canceled early this morning, literally moments before she was leaving to go there she got the call.

From a statistical standpoint, this is infinitesimal. We simply do not have the data to accurately extrapolate the data and access the risk. The media is going on a worse case scenario which is why I believe in the end the death rate here in the west is going to be under 1%.

Yea, we got another email from the superintendent doubling sown that there is not a school closure. And If there was the school year would be extended (bad).

He indicated if you want to take your kid out of school you can for 14 days without a doctor note.

I think you are wrong on this Dave. Maybe in a few weeks after they figure out how to deliver online lessons in some form or another.
