What does that mean?

"The National Guard has been directed by the Governor to be prepared to perform humanitarian missions across the state including food distribution, ensuring resiliency of supply lines, as well as supporting public safety as required."

See this is what the problem is with the media, they said to protect food and medical supplies and enforce the law. At what point do we call this election meddling. 🤬

A1 Sauce??

Not sure what bothers me more, the people stocking up on guns, bullets, gas, toilet paper, paper towels, 50lbs of meat... or you buying and using A1 on your steak? LOL

Lol probably because he’s already got guns, bullets and 50lbs of meat!

One thing , I know , is that I will re - evaluate a few things in life, going forward , after this event , is over .
I'm prepared for the most part . But not over prepared ,
Wouldn' t mind setting something up off the grid . Somewhere .

Not drastic changes ,
Just thinking those doom day preppers , are not as off the wall , as they seem . I have lived 55 years and never seen what's going on . Yet , I think the worst is yet to come .

If you don't think they can put you on total lock down . They did it , just with LAPD and CHP on the creek fire or station Fire . Closed the 210 Frwy all off ramps and you couldn't get in or out , to your house or business. Either you were in or your were out for 4 days .

WTF.. Washington county in oregon has released more then 120 people from jail so the can make room to only have 1 person per cell.. also said the jail has plunty of COVID-19 test on site. They also just said they are only booking major felonys at this time as to not increase the jail population. They are letting all other criminals off with just a fine!! FFS

They have plunty of test kits for the criminals in jail but most samaritans are having a hard time getting test.. WTF is wrong with our system??

THANKS KATE BROWN!!😷🙄😷🤯😷🤬😷

No, the same advice was not given last week. Last week was the same Captain Obvious advice you referred to.

This week it is - you and one family member quarantine yourself from the world. And WTF is wrong with you family members for visiting with her?

Oh wait, LOF said it's okay; it's just an exaggeration of circumstances. :)

I hear you and what everybody else is saying too, but to dismiss the situation as over exaggeration, from my perspective, is equally as frightening. ;)
A tually it's self centered arrogance and denial. He cares little or not at all for how this WILL effect others. You would think he and his are immune and could not possibly get sick and transmit it to others that in which it could be lethal. But hey, he knows all and best for all.

I think leaving mass population is key. Off the grid place, second home in the desert or even a motor home are a good idea. It’s knowing when to go before it’s too late. The problem is there are just too damn many people around us.

Broccoli, spinach, frozen fruits. All can be made into smoothies and last. It may get old making them but better than steaks, pizza and beer every night. Personally I like smoothies.

Steaks and chicken breast can be frozen. Grab some pasta, eggs and maybe a case of top ramen just in case lol.

I’d get Gatorade, cranberry juice etc just because plain water might get old.

I still stand by the idea that this is way over blown. But I really don’t want to be in Costco with 10,000 crazy’s lol.

better look closely at those frozen fruits. People are going to start needing more of that TP

I have the motorhome. It's ready to roll. But I also have my boats , sand car. And other cars and truck .
But then I would leave my home unattended .
I live in a secluded area of a L A horse property with really only one way in one way , and not many homes . So maybe I'm at that place already ? Will see ?
This entire situation sure is eye opening.

we have and have had an exit plan for awhile if shit gets weird.

I don’t expect power or water to be shut off.. We are staying in place becausenresources only last so long in an RV.. and we have sewage and water in our exit plan. Keeping that amount of food cold is a bitch. Etc.. when you start adding it up (at least for us) rolling doesn’t make sense yet.

If things are civil, bugging-out may make sense.

If things are unruly, bugging-in might be the answer.
Ferfal notes this in his book.

John Lovell has some good insights as well...he’s former spec ops and has seen some shit

For those who wanna bug-out if things get unruly...you’re gonna need a lot of people (like 18) just to provide a 24/7 secure perimeter.

A few families in the middle of nowhere will get easily overrun by guys with guns.

Well, looks like I was lucky to make it out to the Race at Bluewater, Camp at the River, and visit San Diego for a month before the Cali lockdown. Thought I had a pretty good Get outta Dodge plan, since West Texas is fairly remote. Then this happened. Stay Safe!

Littlefield Texas.
A visitor to the minimum security sex offender facility in Littlefield has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Lubbock has first case of COVID19.

I have said it before and will continue to say it
more testing = more cases

focus on the bottom line - number of hospitalizations and deaths. SD county is reporting both and is considering reporting deaths by underlying health issues as well

Trudeau is speaking now. They didn't give a check to every Canadian taxpayer. But I was close, they are boosting the child tax credit, every mother with kids under 18, already get a check, amount based on number of kids. Since we have a federal sales tax (coming soon to America), for low income Canadians every quarter, they get a small refund check for the GST. They are increasing the spring refund check to $300.

I personally feel that since the tax payers bailed out the banks back in 2008, it’s their turn to bail the tax payers out by deferring all mortgage payments, loan and credit card payments for awhile. The government has forced people to not be able to make a living, how can we the people be forced to pay our bills. As a small business owner that is not making a dime because of the pandemic, I only have so much in reserve. Once I pay all of my bills and burn through my cash, then what? Banks need to work with the people.

For now in so cal the targets will be trucks and warehouses
Street smart bad guys know many are home and 50% or better are armed.

This is still get the“prize” as far as motivation phase.

It will be about 30 days
to turn to all out desperation and homes being targets

This is all based on when the food chain breaks.
I witnessed the tension in 92’ riots.
This is desperation tension which is much more dangerous and more difficult to neutralize.
Tough choices for all of us ahead.

Before that happens, they will bail out the banks again . After all of us have used every penny paying the banks , to keep our mortgages and other expenses .
They are also going to bail out the air lines, cruise lines and oil and everything else , but small business.

I like animals more then people. Since I no longer have a pool. I have an excess of towels. I'm washing a bunch today and donating them to our local animal shelter. I'm also increasing my usual donation. I might even adopt a dog. Unfortunate, in times like these, its when animals get turned in the most.

Agreed.
The billions pumped into banks will never get to the people who need it most.

Which why I will be carrying now. Not worried about the virus as much as I worry about the stupid people that will try to harm our families. Stay safe out there and thank you to all the folks trying to keep us safe.

It’s past the time Cops
Will care about law abiding people carrying in LA that is for sure
The projected stats for Cops getting this in LA and being out of service is staggering. I won’t post it as I hope it does not reach that level.
Protect your own is my only advice for LA

A large number of Canadian banks, too many to list. They are now differing mortgage payments for six months to those who need it.

I found some gallons of water today. Now I can refill them at one of those stations. That’s a relief.

I've been noodling on something similar. Macro-economics is clearly not my deal, but what would be wrong with a 30 day do over? No cash in, no cash out. Everything delayed 30 days. With interest rates near zero, where's the pain? Who gets screwed?

I’m going with fake.

But a buddy got a text from a client about the military, specifically the national guard getting ready to deploy for 30 days.

Is there another spoof going around. This one has no mention of the stafford act or anything like that

Copy of text. A little far fetched to me lol

Just received this from Steve Tan...he was at the meeting.

Jim-Here’s what my friend texted me: (dad works for homeland security)

He said that they are preparing to mobilize the national guard. Preparing to dispatch them across the US along with military. Next they will call in 1st responders. He said they are preparing to announce a nationwide 1 week quarantine for all citizens All businesses closed. Everyone at home. They were told to pack and be prepared for up to 30 days deployment which he said means they may extend the quarantine up to 30 days. He told me to notify our family members and have them stock up and be prepared. They will announce this as soon as they have troops in place to help prevent looters and rioters... he said he got the call last night and was told to pack and be prepared for the call today with his dispatch orders. He thinks they will announce before the end of the weekend to keep people home on.

You know they don't have even 10% enough people to quarantine the entire populous?

How exactly is that going to work out when people with no warning, who did not get any advance notice after the mobs cleaned out all the stores, then you tell them they have to stay home and everything is closed?

Sounds like a sure fire way to set off a revolt.
