There’s actually a lot of merit to your statement imo.
I noticed about 15-20 years ago that kids and young adults were really being “diagnosed” and labeled with all kinds of conditions requiring therapy and medication.
Every single kid in a classroom at almost any age can be found to have some sort of “abnormal” behavioral condition that there is a pill for.
They are told that they are different, and in some way not responsible or in control of their own actions.
They are conditioned to act out and blame it on something else.
There’s all kinds of “syndromes” these days.
“Compulsive defiance disorder” is one of my favorites.
I had that once growing up. Dad cured me within 5 minutes of contracting it...

I had a Mom yell like this to me when I coached her boy. I was the little league all stars head coach. When you advance in playoffs you are only allowed to have 9 kids in the lineup with 4 substitutes. Her boy was a sub. When we got back to our leadoff hitter she was pacing like a wild dog.

She cornered me after the game and yelled like Karen here, then started crying hysterically. She told me that "I crushed her kids dreams of being a professional baseball player" . Hahaha. If you kid is batting dead last on a little league team he will never play pro ball.
The sad thing was this kid was the nicest kid I have ever coached and pulled me aside to apologize for his mom's behavior. Poor kid

Dude I was there a few weeks ago and one of the guys at the booth lost his fucking mind on me!!!! The no trailer line was blocked with cones so I went in the regular line and I thought he was going to murder me!! I said, “I’m sorry sir there are cones blocking the other lane” and he didn’t apologize and said, “Just go through then.” The funniest part was it wasn’t even busy and it was like 7am. Oh well I guess dealing with dipshits all day makes you angry sometimes. That wasn’t the first time those old timers were rude to me but oh well. I guess they don’t give a shit how they treat people because no matter what people like me will pay to use their slips.
