Question for the masses - we are looking to sell our 5th wheel, but being up here in N Idaho, we realistically wont see any action on RV sales until spring. I know a lot of snowbirds come into Havasu and other parts of AZ, but do they also upgrade/change rigs? Would it make sense to drag it down south and put on consignment? I'm looking at driving down in a couple weeks anyways and could drag it down.

If the answer is yes it makes sense, who would you recommend?

Just post it up on Facebook market place (its free) and see if you get any interest, it can't hurt.

We recently bought a fifth wheel. I was actively shopping for nearly a year. Many of the units I was looking at are still for sale. Especially used units. If you are not a cash buyer it’s a freaking nightmare trying to get financed at reasonable rates.
A member here quoted me 10% with 20-25% down and they only loan off of LOW book value. So that means a buyer would need to come in with more than 25% down minimum.
Now I was looking at your exact floor plan and I had dealers down below your price for new so keep that in mind. Would have to drive to the Midwest, but to get new for mid 50’s isn’t bad.

By the time you spend fuel to drag it down here and a broker gets his cut. It’s going to be a tuff market.

One size down from yours but great floor plan.

FWIW, we put our 40' Bighorn 5th wheel on consignment with one of the largest dealers in LHC for 1.5 years. We received Zero calls or offers from them. Brought it to our home in LHC, listed it on RV Trader, sold it for asking price within a week. Same price as posted with the dealer. Seems this dealer owned many used units displayed on their lot. Those got pushed, our's didn't. Great RV, BH 3670, never had any problems with it. Actually, I kind of miss it.

You may want to think about lowering the price. RV's, boats, enclosed trailers, SxS's all are selling for less than a year ago. I'm not in the market because I am seeing recession and better deals coming in the future, but I have buddies that have been treating great deals out there.
