Just got the e-mail, schools are closed for the rest of the school year in Ventura County.
Same for all the schools in Santa Clarita. Sounds like they are going to have to repeat the year.
Same here in West Covina Unified. My kids only in kindergarten so he’s gonna do the remote learning. School district is still up in the air on what to do with seniors and graduationJust got the e-mail, schools are closed for the rest of the school year in Ventura County.

Yeah, really?Really??
We're online as well.Carlsbad is online learning until June 11
Superintendent stated tonight, if he can get schools opened for 1 week, thus allowing Seniors to have graduation he will, unless the Governor issues an executive order (which was not issued)
Are you going to say what an awful idea this is just like you posted earlier this week when Arizona did this?? Or is it different now that it’s your city/state?Carlsbad is online learning until June 11

So are you saying more DATA is needed ???IMO, terrible decision. Decision was made with limited data.
more data is needed before these long term decisions can be made IMO.
Carlsbad was April 13, moved to May 4 (on Monday) and now online for year. Data between Monday and today does not support this huge change at this time
better data on spread etc is needed before making this decision
the data between now and April 17, should allow for better decisions on what needs to be done May 1
So are you saying more DATA is needed ???
