Pfft! not even in the same league.
If only there was a feature for multiple likes!
Are you the new owner or just another fan?
Great boat! I have a bunch of pix of it when Steve brought it down to Parker . I should have sold all my junk and bought it!I wish… saw it here years ago and fell in love.
Rayson Craft GN
Just wanted to let people know that my Wood Deck Rayson Craft is going on the market. I have finally got to the point of giving up my boating habit due to age and health issues. This boat is one of 13 20’ Flatbottom GN’s that Rudy built. It was originally rigged by Tom Scahill. He will be...www.riverdavesplace.com

Steve's LP was his forever boat that is until the wood decker came up for sale. I need to give Steve a call tomorrow to see how he's doing. You and me both.
Tell us more. And a friend asked for picturesView attachment 1203926
I know of a very famous Rayson coming back to life slowly... may possibly be at Burley this year.
I'll posted a lot more when it's getting rigged and done in gel.Tell us more. And a friend asked for pictures
If it’s anything like the last one you had… we have something to look forward to.I'll posted a lot more when it's getting rigged and done in gel.
It's not mine unfortunately, but a former world champions boat. It will be a show and race boat. Should be extremely competitive like it was years ago.If it’s anything like the last one you had… we have something to look forward to.
Boat content to the top please
Had a 20', 1982 GN hull (?) WITH a 225 BM on it. Original owner took it to Catalina from LB on its maiden voyage in 1982 whom I know. Word is the couple who went with them on the trip over took the ferry back...I could only imagine...
Kyle at WOT Marine owns it now.
I imagine that Andrews initial cost on his new Rayson has been relatively inexpensive compared to any of his Shiada's not to mention more fun to participate in the build process. I would think that is sure to change as modifications are already needed and underway wich will undoubtedly be quite expensive. Why cant you just have both?
It undoubtedly will be a great piece. I'm quite sure that Rayson will become a reckoning force on the Parker strip in the years to come.It undoubtedly will be a great piece. I look forward to seeing it.
Freaking sick

He'll have a better chance of winning the 2040 parker Enduro with the proper tool for the job.Boy is gonna be pissed if I build another Schiada over a Rayson.
When My Schiada 20ss sells, I'm either gonna build a new Schiada, Rayson or a Rush. Haven't figured it out yet
Jeeezzusss...

When you say line up against your Schiada what exactly do you mean?I have never seen a good running Rayson Craft, they look and sound awesome. A long-time lake friend actually collects them and they all hop, porpoised really badly, and never take a good set with stock or moderate power even in really calm water. Another friend of my Dad’s was actually a Rayson Craft dealer back in the 70’s and his personal boat porpoised badly too and threw him up under the bow one time. Between the two of them I’ve seen 6-7 Rayson Craft over the years and I feel this is a big enough sample size to base my opinions on.
I will also say clearly Rayson Crafts reputation came from somewhere so I’m sure there are boats out there that run well I just haven’t seen them.
I’ve told both of them several times me and my Schiada will line up with any one of Rudy’s boats they have and they have yet to take me up on my offer
