This pic was taken a couple days ago by bullhead bully. Never seen it dry before?

I love looking at aeriel pics like that and trying to figure out where it is...

I am guessing it is being taken east of Vidal junction looking West and that town we are looking at is VJ .....cause if you follow the road after vidal it veers left and if you follow it up to the top left and you can see the railroad tracks....

I wonder what kind of "stuff" was found in that aqueduct? Used to fish for catfish in it out near Victorville area back in the 70's

Yes, the entire Colorado River aqueduct is shutdown, yearly maintenance on just about every facility. Contractor work, as well as MWD crews.

Don't worry, water will start flowing soon...........

Looking at your avatar brings back memories of Dracula in Cleats and the Immaculate Reception.

Those were good years to be a Steelers fan. Players of that era shut up and let their actions do the talking.

If Jack Lambert had played in the 2010s decade, he would have picked up Colin Kaepernick and snapped him in half like a twig.

Yearly maintenance always happens in February !! They are shut down! Don’t water your lawns! or flush your toilet…

if it’s yellow keep it mellow! If it’s Brown don’t even bother flushing it down…..

Got to meet most of the Steelers of that era. Down to earth dudes. Meet Jack Lambert at Pittsburgh Airport, he had dentures & would pop them them. You could walk up anyone one of them & just talk to them like they were just some average person. BTW, I was at the game for the immaculate reception. My Dad had 4 season tickets, from when the Steelers played at Forbes Field, up to the early 2000's.

Good Times in the Steel City. NT
