It’s all coming together really nice!!! Awesome work!
Go man go..
I was hoping you would give up and sell it for cheap.
Looking good, keep up the progress.
Nope!!! They are original install from Extreme. When I put new LED's on my 2001 Extreme trailer last year, I found the same thing. Not one sealed connection on the entire trailer, but they are all sealed now. Hard to believe they used scotch locks and open butt connectors. Made me wonder what else they cut corners on back then.Built my fender runners today as well as got the old fenders ripped off and the new ones installed. New ones come down about an extra 2 inches vs the old ones and looks really nice. Also got the wiring repaired and new lights installed. There's only a couple little things left for the trailer...

Also, I sure hope these were from some repair and not original install like they appeared to be; in which case them fellas over at Extreme outa be ashamed of themselves for even keeping scotch locks on the premises. These are only a few of close to a dozen I cut out.
painted it myself with some help from a couple friends who transitioned into boats from rv/autobody repair. I'm a straight up mechanic that also does electrical. painting is not exactly in my wheelhouse but I think I did a descent job.Nope!!! They are original install from Extreme. By the way, your boat is looking damn good now. Did you paint the trailer yourself? It looks great. If not, who did it for you?
Travis next spring!!!
Well, it looks like you did a very nice job. I have to get mine done this winter. She will no doubt spend some time on Lake Travis but shes going to be my Lake Austin boat. Bertha is my primary Lake Travis boat.
I also want to do some traveling with her. Maybe LOTO in a year or so, I haven't been there yet. I also want to get her to back to Havasu soon!
