I've been watching this build since the begining . . . I find it very fascinatiing . . . and she's almost done.
She's done almost every single thing on the car herself, except a small amount of welding (which she said she could do, but wanted it done cleaner), and a little machining here & there.
She even painted it herself.
She's def, a different bird, and not the typical 'car chick' . . . she's got a verty interesting background as well.

She fired this thing up to test it & fit it . . . then pulled the motor to prep & paint the engine bay.
Her attention to detail and sticking to as much Toyota OEM / Denso parts is impressive to say the least. It's crazy how she's been able to hunt down some rare parts from Japan & Australia.

She even sent the engine back to builder who f'ed something up which she caught before firing it up.

There's a bunch of vids of this project on her channel . . . I can't wait to see it fired up for the 1st test drive !

Here's the latest edition where she's tackling some fo the engine wiring . . . no way in hell would I have the patience for this . . . .

Nah . . . it's a 'thing' to call weird chicks dudes . . . maybe some are, who knows . . . She just seems like a trippy chick . . . cat lady , self admitted OCD etc.
I guess she's always been into cars from an early age, and went into the Air Force out of High School where she was an Aeroespace Maintenance Professional from 2003 to 2015 and was a Staff Sargeant. Then got a Bachelors from American Military University from 2014-2017.

In my cruising/racing days there was a dude with a Celica that was known as the fastest lowered road race car but my buddy with a built turbo'd 510 was also undefeated. The hype on the Pkwy was palatable so they both didn't want to race on the usual road. Instead they agreed to meet elsewhere but somehow the cops still knew & squashed it before it could get done.
They never did end up racing head to gead but shared time slips from Carlsbad raceway. They were nearly the same but Datsun prevailed.
The Celica was prettier.
