sand bar boat races

last summer i missed a good time i guess. a bunch of boats got together at the sandbar up from aha quin, some races and a good time from what my father in law said. does anybody know if this is happening again this year, and if so, what weekend. i believe it was some time in late september. thanks, i don't want to miss it again.
